The location was excellent for walks in and around lovely Burford and for visiting other quaint villages in the beautiful Cotswolds. On arrival and throughout our extended stay all the staff were professional, pleasant, helpful and welcoming they made our stay very comfortable, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The breakfast was plentiful with so much choice and cooked...

We spent two nights here in early October. We were in Room 14, a courtyard room with a walk in shower, as requested. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, the bed was superb, there was plenty of hanging and drawer space, an excellent bathroom with good towels and toiletries - nothing at all that didn't please. We had...

Stayed one night on our way home from a short break in the Cotswolds, lovely room, great breakfast and very welcoming staff, a very charming period inn serving great food. Excellent value for money and a very nice location. Would definitely return.

Visited this hotel on Thursday 17/09/15 on the recommendation of friends. As my wife currently has a broken ankle and her foot in plaster, a condition of our booking this hotel was that a GROUND FLOOR room was available in the rear courtyard. We were assured that a ground floor room was available and reserved it. On arrival at the...

We spent several nights here at end of August. We had a lovely 4 poster bed in a room over looking the High Street. The room was large and very comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the road but not loud enough to be an issue. The room had all mod cons including an excellent choice of TV...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights last week for some R&R after a business trip to Oxford from NYC. From the moment I stepped in the front door to our check out,the staff bent over backwards to be helpful. We had one of the front rooms overlooking the High Street. The fourposter bed was so fun and very comfey....

Just returned from a Saturday night stay at the Bull. Overall a very good experience with the highlights being; The food, the staff & the location. Our room was a four poster double. My room was a delight, warm & inviting. I'd a four poster very comfy bed, sofa & chairs, well stocked fresh tea & coffee tray & a spotless bathroom in which everything functioned perfectly. All this, the whole inn and in fact, nearly all of Burford are in gorgeous, very old buildings, in an old English village. I was only...

Faultless service and accommodation in a marvellous traditional inn in beautiful Burford in The Cotswolds. An early 18th century facade belies a medieval building and appropriately historic hotel interior with a spacious bedroom and four-poster bed. Dinner was superb and breakfast even better .... all facilitated by genuinely attentive staff for an all round excellent stay. We'll definitely be back...
