After several nights of heavy dinners, we were ready for something lighter and the Golden Pheasant fit the bill. We had great beers and shared a pretty decent vegetarian pizza. We found the waitress and the rest of the staff to be very friendly.
Unfortunately we found the beds uncomfortable & could feel the springs. It’s a shame it’s not just good enough for the price & then the mattress just disappointed us.We had a double & a twin all poor quality, it would be worth while changing them....More
Went back to an old favourite as it had lacked the friendly touch on the last few visits, New guy behind the bar who was fab! Very relaxed and great banter. Treated each guest as if he knew them. Credit to the bar. Good wines/beers...More
