Being a single female on business I found this hotel very quaint and quirky. My room was quite fabulous with a 4 poster bed that was very comfortable. Bathroom needs a bit of an up date but for the setting right by the Thames and very central it was great. Parking is around the back in the courtyard. Dinner was...

Myself and Aunt were bought an Afternoon Tea as a Mothers day gift. We were the only two in the lounge having Tea and this ment no atmosphere or ambience, the music was also pretty dire! We were served out Tea - Luke warm and weak. Sandwiched only 3 small slice each - at first look we thought smoked salmon...

We booked a dinner bed and breakfast package in one of the four poster rooms. We came with an open mind after reading some of the other reviews. There is a small car park where we parked without trouble. We booked in and was very happy with our room and the view over the river. We enjoyed a lovely day...

Lovely setting opposite the river and parking on site which is great as Henley can get very busy. Greeted by our waiter who took us to our table. The room was not very big could accommodate about 5 different groups of people. Afternoon tea was nice good choice of sandwiches, lovely fruit scone with Jam and cream. However the cake...

We stayed for the Sunday night and was very impressed with the service given by Bianca on reception. After enquiring about staying the night with our dog, she showed us to our room which was out in the courtyard and away from the hotels main building. We booked the room as it was perfect for a quick night stay. The...

Firstly let me say read my review but whatever you do book somewhere else. I am an avid trip adviser girl and see people give places bad reviews all the time but mostly because their standards are beyond reasonable expectation. My expectation of the red lion was a) it's central Henley and I would expect it to have/desire a reasonable...

At this hotel they know Groupon is the cheap option, so they gave us a rubbish table, bad afternoon tea with a few dried slices of cake, ONE yes ONE finger sandwich per person and a few paltry cakes. It's hardly an offer as you get very little for your £26 for two. The interior is tired and could do...
