Clean and comfortable, a nice sized room with large enough windows, and the staff are friendly. There's a Waitrose across the car park, a lake close by, and a regular park and ride bus service gets you into the centre of Oxford in no time.

The hotel was clean comfortable. It is in a great location from Oxford city centre and was great value for money. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Firstly you have to pay £4 to park in hotel car park. I booked a twin room for myself and my grown up daughter. We were given a family room with a double bed and 2 camper beds designed for children. I went back to reception and was told it was a twin. After explaining the contents of the room...

The hotel in general is basic and has a slightly run down feel to it, tired grubby carpets etc. The pullout beds for the children are poor with rock-hard uncomfortable mattresses. The staff did grudgingly find a spare duvet to put under the sheet which improved things a little. We stayed one night and would not have wanted to stay...

The pullout beds for the children are poor - mattresses very hard and uncomfortable. Staff found a spare duvet to go under the sheet to improve things a bit. Would not stay here again. Maybe OK for one night if no alternative

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you found our pull out beds to be uncomfortable. After extensive customer trials and research, these beds were selected as being the best fit for our family rooms and once again we would like to apologise this was not the case on this occasion. Following our recent guests feedback, we...

My wife and I recently stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful elegant surroundings, attentive wonderful staff who make you feel like you are the only guest. The duty staff (receiption) could not have been more helpful and organised everything. We loved exploring the hotel and have many lovely photographs to take home with us. Will definitely be back for another adventure.

Van broken into with no cctv etc, blassay attitude from day staff as it's a regular occurrence on this site. Evening staff very empathetic although new to role therefore hasn't had chance to get used to level of crime at this site.

We first visited the Peartree Travel lodge in the late 1980s and found it to be well located, with huge rooms but in much need of updating in décor. Since then we have visited the same lodge over the past 2 years and although the rooms are much smaller ( the site being also occupied by a Holiday Inn) it...

A very basic travelodge! No restaurant facilities. Would suggest it's more for construction workers! Some colleagues noted a lot of noise early hours with deliveries/uploads. However staff polite and helpful
