Returned to Sandfield House after a gap of 5 years and as good as ever. Paul is an excellent host and makes one's stay seem very personal. Very handy for Headington and city and buses to London.Recommended.

I stayed at the Sandfield Guest House in October 2016 for three weeks while my wife was in the John Radcliffe Hospital. The hospital was about 7 minutes walk away from the hospital, which meant that I could walk there instead of using the car. Anyone who has tried to park their car at the John Radcliffe will know that...

Very comfortable and clean. If you don't have a car, there is a bus stop right on the doorstep into Oxford. Paul is very helpful and makes you feel at home. He offered all kind of useful information, even before I arrived about which bus stop I should get of coming on the coach from Gatwick. He is very knowledgeable...

Felt really at home here. Plenty of space to get ready to go to my friends wedding. The owner was absolutely lovely, really friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Oxford. Walking distance from shops and pubs but nice and quiet and cosy at night. I would stay here again if I get the chance to visit Oxford again.

I stayed at Sandfield Guest House in June 2016 and I was very positively impressed by it! The guest house is in a great location if you come from Gatwick or Heathrow airport, as it is just a few minutes from Headington Shops stop, where the coach leaves you. Paul is a really kind host and provides you with a...

Easy to find and only a short walk to local shops and eateries. Comfortable clean room. Comfy bed. Paul was so very helpful at a difficult time. He managed an extended family arriving & departing at various times with a smile. Friendly as well as efficient. Excellent breakfast. Thank you Paul.

Warm welcome from Paul our host. He helped us settle in and provided invaluable advice with maps, about buses, sights of interest and places to eat. He could not have been more attentive but without being intrusive. He assisted over and above what could normally be expected. The house was spotless, the water hot and the bed very comfortable .Our room...

We were fortunate enough to get a room here during the busy university gradation weekend - be sure to email the hotel directly with enquiries! Paul is a wonderful and attentive host, welcoming us at our planned early arrival time. The room was nicely decorated, with windows opening on to the quiet neighborhood, and with a small but suitable ensuite....

Only stayed the one night as I was attending a graduation at Oxford Brookes and the guest house was just a short walk away. The room was very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Even though I only spent the one night, the guest house is in an excellent location for those who want explore/visit Oxford, there is a...

This is one of the best B&B s I have stayed at in the UK. It was so nice to stay in a family home and Paul (owner) is an excellent host. Everything was immaculate, extremely clean and I loved the extra touches such as a fine china cup and saucer to use in the room. Apart from a few...
