We stayed in July 2016 and had a great visit. We found ourselves needing to visit Oxford again and did not hesitate to stay again. The Old Parsonage is a large stone former clergy’s home next to St. Gile’s Church. Each room has loads of character, yet the accommodation is

We always stay here for my Birthday and it never fails to be the best holiday every year. The location is fabulous at the top of St. Giles, a stones throw from Little Clarendon Street for Wine bars and restaurants! A 10 minute walk into the Broad and High passing the wonderful

We've stayed there a couple of times. I think there was only a large shower and single sink. The floor was heated and there was a towel warmer. Make sure you find the library; I loved having tea inside or on the patio. And the fire in the entry area is lovely on a chilly day!

That, I’m afraid has to be checked with the hotel beforehand to get up to date information, but well worth it!

Is there parking at or near the hotel? Cost?
Parking IS free as stated but you need to "request" it, and it's not guaranteed even if you do request it. Some street parking nearby.

"I understand there are two accessibility rooms, but we If you have trouble with too many stairs the first floor would be best."
"It’s the stmosphere which I remember and enjoy."
"1st floor rooms 11,12,15,17,18,23,24,25 & 27 look decent size plus rooms 14 and 16 look like suites. Rooms 19-22 look very snug!"
"We stayed in the older part of the hotel which I believe has more character than the newer part."
"The rooms run small, so the superior deluxe is worth it if you want a little space."
