Have waited a few weeks before writing this review. Had a great weekend stay here early in April but can't get over the fact that it was expensive. In my simple mind, it's one hundred pounds for a room, two hundred pounds for a nice room and three hundred pounds for a luxury room. So if I'm paying almost four...

A return visit to Oxford and nowhere else I would choose to stay. It was just as great as I remembered it. First, the location is the best, directly on High Street in the center of Oxford and an easy walk to practically anything. Add to that professional and helpful service, and the most comfortable beds and room amenities, a...

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Oxford, and our front facing bedroom had a view of the Radcliffe Camera. The bedroom was spacious, light and airy, if a little bland but bland is preferable to the dark gloom that Malmaison seems so keen on. The lack of in-room tea and coffee making facilities is bizarre. I have...

Plenty of character for this stylish hotel in an old building. A few minutes away from the botanical garden. Rooms are nicely refurbished and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the ones on the courtyard, the ones on the street are a but noisy despite the double glazing. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. There's even guided tour organized daily...

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with an excellent ensuite shower room. The only criticism is that we could not make a hot drink in our room. This was a bit of a surprise. We stayed for two nights and ate dinner each evening in...

We've been eating and drinking in Quod as a family with great pleasure for some years now as we pick up, drop off and visit student children. This time we decided to stay and spend a night in the Old Bank. We had lovely time and it was great not to be in rush to go back round the M25....

This was our first visit to Oxford and we had chosen the Old Bank for our three night stay partly because of its ratings and partly because of its location. We were very pleased with our experience there. Our room was small, but comfortable and quiet. The staff members were friendly and helpful and the hotel was within easy walking...

Thanks so much for your review. I'm really glad you enjoyed. So sorry you were given incorrect information as regards the room view. The rear facing rooms tend to be quieter but they don't generally have a view over oxford. I'll be happy to assign a front facing room next time. Best wishes, Mima

A fantastic location, step out of the hotel into the heart of Oxford. Staff at the hotel are superb, friendly and attentive. Food is oustanding, we had both breakfast and evening meal. The bar serves wonderful cocktails. The reason for a four rating is it lacks an area to enjoy just a drink, all the tables in the bar area...

After a wonderful stay here at Christmas, we couldn't resist booking again for another short break. We stayed in a large room which had been refurbished only 10 days earlier, so it felt as if everything was brand new - beautiful spacious bathroom with an additional clever little light at floor level which came on immediately on walking into the...

I spent three nights at the Old Bank Hotel and it was an absolutely perfect stay. My double room was fabulous and overlooked the restaurant's terrace, but was still very quiet and restful. The bathroom was spacious and gorgeous and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful and I...
