My family with two teenagers stayed at the Old Bank Hotel in Oxford. We loved it. It is in a perfect location on High Street right in the middle of Oxford. We found it quite easy to get around using this hotel as our base of operations. The hotel was charming and modern. The only real complaint was the elevator...

We had an overnight stay at this hotel. Negotiating into the car park a little tricky, but the ever helpful and friendly staff were amazing. All the staff throughout our stay could not have done more to make is feel welcome. As I said in my title a class act without being pretentious. Hotel spotless ,decorated and furnished to a...

A few weeks ago I visited Old Bank Hotel with my husband for a cocktail early evening, on this occasion we were ignored by the bar staff, who were doing a great job at making cocktails, but not offering a great service. I had also had other negative experiences. This is a bar which I love and have been going...

Great location, lovely rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows, nice big bathroom with good shower. Though oddly I couldn't see any coffee making facilities. Excellent service from staff who sorted out my mistake when booking a twin room - I should have gone to Supersavers! I would stay here again when in Oxford.

The principal asset of Oxford’s Old Bank Hotel is its position. Located centrally in the High Street it is in easy walking distance of most historic places of interest and many city centre shops. The room was comfortably furnished and clean with plenty of plugs for appliances and a strong wi-fi signal. It was however overheated with no easy means...

Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad you liked the hotel though I'm very sorry to hear you were displeased with the lift issue and breakfast. I agree entirely with regards the inconvenience caused by the inoperable lift. My sincerest apologies for this. In this instance we absolutely should have offered a room move and I'm sorry this didn't...

An excellent large room in an hotel with a luxury boutique vibe. Extremely comfortable in all respects and helpful friendly staff. The chesnut & mushroom ravioli was the best pasta I've eaten outside Italy. We dined in a private room and the acoustics were poor - loud and difficult to hear, even though we were a party of less than...

Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Guests are welcome to dine in the library if the hustle of the restaurant is too much. I'm glad you enjoyed the kippers: a new and much loved addition to the breakfast menu. Sorry you were a bit short changed with the mushroom portion though. I'm pleased to report the...

We come to Oxford several times a year and have stayed in various quality hotels in the area. Old Bank is our favorite by a long shot. The rooms are contemporary, with nicely appointed features for comfort, the staff are attentive as can be, food at the Quod is outstanding, and the location can't be beat. The art collection throughout...

We stayed for one night here. Service was excellent, room was lovely with staff really nice and helpful. Location is perfect for visiting sites in Oxford. Our only regret is we could only stay for one night and want to come back and visit again. Also need to recommend the restaurant.
