We had our Office Christmas party 7th Dec. We were around 100+ people in the Lancaster Events room. In my table we had a Food and wine consultant and an ex-secret dinner. They all enjoyed the 3 course dinner, with 3 options for each of the 3 courses (Salmon, turkey, butter-squash, cheese, Christmas cake pudding, etc.) FOOD The comments were...

I really looked forward to visiting the Randolph for our work Christmas meal. It is in a great central location in Oxford although parking is a nightmare. The hotel itself is very grand. The big disappointment was the food. The smoked salmon starter was fine (and I loved having beetroot with it). But the main course of turkey was bland...

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to be told there would be no hot water between 11pm and 5am. The lift stank of vomit. The hot water went off before 11pm and was still not on again by 7, leaving me pretty grumpy. The cold towel rails exacerbated the issue. Had it not been for the lack of hot water...

Excellent location in centre of the City and well furnished, comfortable if smallish room. Pleasant and helpful staff. Disappointing breakfast - good cold/continental buffet offered but cooked breakfast looked plentiful but dried bacon/cold eggs and bland taste not up to standard. Porridge returned untouched - under cooked oats and water - yuk !

For our company Christmas party we had booked very early as we were too late last year, our expectations were high. The location is superb and you can't fault the building and the entrance is impressive with a very polite doorman to welcome you. The room we were in for our party was nicely decorated. However, the drinks (you receive...

I organised our BMW xmas party and chose the Randolph as our venue. I was expecting it to be good, but not that good. Everyone had a great time, the atmosphere was electric and were very well taken care of by the staff. Will certainly be re organising again for next year. I couldn't imagine anywhere better.

Great location, good door staff. We were pleased with our room on floor 3 (330). The major problem was the constant loud whirring of the air condition/extraction fans below our room. Unacceptable, you should at the very least expect a decent nights sleep at a 5 star hotel. The fans need sound proofing work and the windows of effected rooms...

This hotel was very nice, with an ideal location. The staff were very attentive and professional, the table was waited on, both efficiently and discretely. The meal that was served was ok, it wasn't anything particularly special and in my opinion it lacked presentation. I sat on a very uncomfortable sofa with a deep seat and not able to lean...

The Hotel’s location in the centre of Oxford (directly opposite Ashmolean Museum) is ideal for all the museums and restaurants. The location is the main selling point which I guess is how they justify the high-end room rate. I would say the Hotel is at best a midrange 4 star. The positives are the location and the Spa, which is...

I stayed here for 5 nights on business. It is a good central location and within walking distance of many restaurants. The room was an adequate size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was very nice. We ate at nearby restaurants each evening as we wanted a more casual experience than the Randolph was able to offer.
