Stayed here in a spacious superior room for a couple of nights recently. Nice location and well appointed hotel with comfortable bar and spacious dining facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was good and had all the comforts and amenities expected from a 3 hotel. Unfortunately the quality of the internal partitions leaves a lot to be desired both...

We stayed as a family with our children aged 6 and 1 for 1 night in January. The family room we stayed in had a nice view overlooking the garden, and was spacious and quiet. We ordered some bar food for the children to eat and it looked absolutely fine for their needs. Breakfast was in the main restaurant which...

This is a pleasant hotel situated in a quiet suburb of Oxford. The rooms are good and the food is tasty. Beds are comfortable and it is quiet. However, I had a lot of minor niggles - the TV did not work - it was not fixed when I asked - when I asked again I did get an upgrade...

My husband and I made a last minute booking of the honeymoon suite 4 years to the day after we got married at Hawkwell House. Staff (particularly Kayleigh, the wedding planner) were very helpful and welcoming. Prosecco in our room was a lovely touch. A very special way to celebrate.

The ceremony was gorgeous and the meal and dining area was amazing it's a shame the bar was separate from the actual hall itself! Rooms were not very good as there was no hot water the decorating wasn't very good! Stair case was wobbly at the main entrance and it needs updating badly! Over all it was a lovely wedding...

A room without window (well, there was one in the narrow corridor leading from the door to the bedroom itself) for the "full price"? Reception staff which adds together the wrong rooms for the final bill several times and then becomes annoyed? Truly horrible breakfast - although it was "free" we skipped it on the second day. At least in...

I love having free parking at hotels, it drives me mad when you have to pay extra so that's the first positive! The hotel was very well presented and the staff very friendly. It's an ideal base to visit Oxford, approx £8 in a taxi one way which arrived within about 5 minutes of the hotel ordering it for us....
