The hotel was well located: easy to arrive by car and yet very close to main sights. They had also an own parking space. Rooms were small, but comfortable and nicely decorated. It is nice to stay in hotels like this which are in old building and have a long history. Breakfast was tasty and with plenty of options. The...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

our family stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our daughters 21st and could not have wished for a better hotel to stay in Oxford close to the stunning colleges of Merton and Corpus Christie to name a few. Both our rooms were very well furnished and decorated with very clean modern bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel lobby...

Good location, right in the centre of Oxford and has the added benefit of on-site parking (although too many cars crammed in a small car park can make it a bit of a mission to park up). Hotel very smart and room was clean and well-equipped. Staff are friendly and the bar area is relaxing. Breakfast was OK although choice...

Stayed for two nights. Not cheap for what you get. A single room is literally a single room-in the attic. No lift goes all the way up. Small room. No specific extra services. Very good breakfast however. Wouldn't recommend it for couples or families unless there are other larger rooms-check size of the actual room you are planned to get....

Dear Yahia A Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our hotel as a number of room types. Single, Twin and Double. Most of our single rooms do have single beds. Our classic rooms come with mercure toiletries and complimentary water in the mini bar. We do have privilege rooms for a small supplement - these rooms...

Stayed for one night in a privilege twin room and it couldn't have been better. Check in was very quick and simple, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was amazing, much better than what I expected from previous stays at other Mecure properties. The upgrade to a privilege room was definitely worth it to have a nespresso machine, white...

I have just tried to find out what the lounge bar serves both food and drink . After looking on the website for quite sometime I discovered it gave no information regarding food or drink at the lounge bar . Then I decided to telephone them. After sometime a male person tried to help me but did not know much...

Stayed for one night to attend a concert at the O2 Academy. Hotel was easy to find from the train station (about a 10/15 minute walk) and the check in staff were lovely and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and extremely quiet despite being close to the main high street. Lovely toiletries and tea/coffee facilities were provided. Breakfast was...

I stayed for one night in March 2017 while on a business trip. The hotel has recently been modernized, and it is situated in an old building. However, the hotel has a modern look and the hotel is great. For guests with disabilities the hotel may be a poor choice, as the lift only goes up to the second floor...

Dear Mikkomax Thank you very much for your recent review, I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay and Marco's New York Italian Restaurant, which is part of the hotel. I am so sorry that there was a lack of sop in the bedroom, as quite rightly is one of our Mercure brand standards, I have asked the housekeeper as...
