Lovely hotel, with picturesque views, yet just a 15 minute stroll from the centre of the beautiful city of Oxford. The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout, although the bedrooms were perhaps little tired. Staff were attentive and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant and bar was of excellent quality, beautifully presented and offered value...

Really impressed with the hotel. The furnishings and decor are very nice, looks as though it has been quite recently refurbished. All of the staff we came into contact with were pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night. There was a good selection and it was tasty and well presented. It's a 15...

On arrival a happy, friendly manager greeted us, enquiring how our journey was, making us feel welcome. We were given a complimentary upgrade (we had asked in advance and were going to pay, so lovely surprise). The room was a good size, had a pretty view and everything was spotless. Some bits and pieces were missing such as chocolates and slippers,...

Stayed in a superior double room which included four poster bed, fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks and was overlooking the pond and meadow. Room was lovely and clean, only thing was not enough hooks just one in the bathroom but that's all. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast had everything you could want, we went down about 8.30...

I usually stay there when traveling to Oxford for business. The hotel is antique looking and interior facilities are nice. I had the opportunity of staying in the old house annex and I would actually recommend staying on the main "new" aisle. Breakfast is ok. Personnel is present but not intrusive. You can also take nice strolls by the Thames.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oxford Spires, we stayed one night and used a dinner, bed and breakfast offer we saw on Secret Escapes. Cannot fault the hotel we loved it, our room was surprisingly upgraded to one of the newly refurbished rooms which was amazing, very clean and spacious. The three course meal we had in the restaurant...

A really lovely hotel. Perfect location for Oxford as you can walk along the river into the city centre. This takes just ten minutes but seems quicker as you can watch all the rowers and different boats. The breakfast has a really good selection of food, all excellently cooked. The meals in the restaurant and bar are also excellent. The...

Beautifully refurbished deluxe rooms, spotlessly clean. Friendly, efficient reception staff and well-equipped gym. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the city centre along the Thames river walk. A huge car park which is a major advantage in a city like Oxford. We were able to forget about the car and stroll everywhere during our 3 night stay....
