This is a pleasant hotel within walking distance of Oxford. We did not eat our evening meal at the hotel, but breakfast was very nice and extensive. It is a busy hotel with lovely grounds. The spa was a little disappointing. A small sauna and a small pool with very little space around the pool and plastic seating.

Thank you for your review of the hotel. It is a shame you did not get to visit our gym and beauty room which are on the first floor of the leisure club with great views of the swimming pool below. It is good to read you liked our grounds and surrounding area - hopefully you will pay us another...

My wife and I booked a 2 room 2 night B & B stay for us and sister and brother-in-law. The night before arrival they had a major, nasty experience at home so I was pleased that they decided to come. On our arrival was allocated a room virtually in the next county so was very pleased when the duty...

Nice friendly hotel about 10 minutes walk from the centre. Rooms are large and comfortable. Indoor pool and gym at no extra charge which I enjoyed using. Worth a stay. Breakfast self service and enjoyable, had dinner once here but would rather eat out, the folly restaurant is just over the road and very good. Nice spacious hotel with lots...

We stayed with friends for a couple of nights. We took one of their 2 nights BB plus an evening meal on day of arrival. The food was good and with a good level of service. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful and well organised lots of choice something to suit everyone. The room was fine, quite large and clean. The bed...

Stayed here for four weeks for work! Very polite staff. Rooms I thought were a little small. But great location, walking distance into the centre of Oxford, including a back path along the Thames. If eating in the bar lounge they have a lounge special Sunday to Thursday that includes a drink. If the lounge is busy I don't think...

I think if we had paid full price, I would not have been that impressed, but we got a deal with Superbreaks of 2 nights inc. 3 course meal on one night for under £300. The meal was OK, not much atmosphere as the restaurant wasn't very full. We thought it was good at the time, but after eating at...

Nice setting right by the river. Slightly disappointed with hotel for the price. Looking a bit tired decor wise although there was some painting going on. Room quite roomy but again bit dated reception and bar area small and a bit cafeteria looking, breakfast adequate but as always buffet food is not hot, ate in restaurant one evening and was...

Stayed at Oxford spires four pillar hotel for a week. The stay was very comfortable. The staff are welcoming. Food is good. This was my first visit to Oxford and am based in India. The location is quite close to the city center of this historic city. It is close to the city but far enough to give a 'quite'...

I brought 25 people to this hotel for 2 nights while touring area Oxford area. The hotel itself has historical significance and the building and grounds are beautiful and right on the river. There is also a wonderful restaurant and bar plus an indoor pool at this luxury hotel. The greatest plus for this hotel is an amazing staff of...

First time we been staying at Oxford spire four pillars. Price was too much, but we enjoyed out stay. Parking was excellent, grate location, only problem is wifi and no mobile reception. The price is almost £40.00 more then other hotel in Oxford. Thank you Oxford spires. See you soon.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am pleased you enjoyed the location of the hotel and the free car parking which we see as a real bonus being so close to Oxford. I am sorry you had issues with wi-fi and mobile reception it is not normally an issue and should you be here again...
