My husband and I stayed here last Friday and Saturday. An excellent place very clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a glass of orange juice at reception and shown to our room. Very comfortable bed and clean room . The Burlington House serves a excellent breakfast which is made to order. I would highly recommend this place to...

We enjoyed this well appointed hotel, but really a large B&B. Very close to lovely Summertown and a simple 10 minute bus ride to the centre of Oxford. A great welcome, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Question the 5 stars because of details, room had a few light bulbs blown, bedside light not working & the fan (instead of...

Excellent attention to detail. This property is maintained to a very high standard. A very welcoming atmosphere. Superior personal customer service. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I traveled to Oxford for a week-long teaching engagement, but my final day at Burlington House Hotel was a terrible experience. Please be cautious if you intend to stay here. Nes, the proprietor, made an error, and rebooked our room for our final night. This forced us to find another inn for our final evening. My wife and small children...

Not sure where to start, our stay at the Burlington House was just amazing. Nes, looked after all our needs, from getting us an iron to arranging taxis and recommendations of places to visit. And then breakfast in the morning was great. Their home made bread is to die for ! Highly recommended staying here if you ever need somewhere...

Recently stayed here for business and couldn't recommend it more. The room was clean, quiete and had all the amenities you need. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for work with breakfast included but the Burlignton House had a different twist, with home made bread, quick and friendly service it felt very homely as opposed to some hotels...

We stayed 1 night and would definitely stay again. Easy parking, very comfortable, modern room. Compact but with a big bed and everything we needed. Lovely breakfast and very relaxed check-in/ out. Wine cafe and good shops/ restaurants within walking distance and frequent buses into central Oxford

Well ordered and efficient. Perhaps a little too efficient. Texting before arrival. Are you coming before 7pm?- because thats when reception closes and you are cast into the void, Didn't reply as I was driving, but managed that deadline. Completion of their booking-in form does not constitute a 5* welcome. And "Are you alright" shop-girl style, when you are struggling...

Stayed there for my birthday and was impressed by the location, the friendliness of the owner and the amazing homemade granola :). We walked into town in less than 30 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent value for money and very easily accessible - what more do you want!!!

Thank Julie W
