What a lovely hotel. We were greeted by the proprieter who offered a glass of orange juice, and carried our bag to our room. The room was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and had a good wet room. We were told the hotel was pretty much full, yet we did not have any disturbances. T he bus which takes you to...

This is really well situated for Oxford town centre with nice places to eat within walking distance. The manager is really helpful and efficient. Breakfast was excellent- home made granola, yoghurt and local meats etc. A good find.

Burlington House is perfectly pleasant, but by no means deserving of five stars. We stayed in the queen room, as no kings were available, and were surprised to find it rather cramped and (far worse) with mildew around the shower room window and ceiling. There were also a few rather disappointing rules: you must check in by seven, breakfast finishes...

Burlington House is a great place to stay with clean rooms and upto date facilities. The manager is very friendly and goes through some useful points about Oxford and places to eat and drink on a night. The breakfast is lovely and the rooms are comfortable. A great trip to Oxford.

From the moment you walk up to and enter the Oxford - well deserved - 5 star B and B Burlington House you know you have hit upon a gem. The spacious parking, immaculate garden and welcoming hall all a sign of things to come. The rooms (and we didn't stay in the largest of them) are spacious, well-decorated (nothing...

Have stayed in Oxford several times and previous experience of places was either lovely and clean but expensive and miles away from the centre, or more central, expensive and shabby. Burlington House however is very well located being straight up Banbury Road and near a bus stop (frequent buses), bars and restaurants and local shops. Spotlessly clean, modern and tasteful...

This is a wonderful B&B, v. clean and comfortable. Decor all new. Breakfast menu extensive and everything is freshly cooked. Staff friendly and helpful. It is a short distance to the town centre by car. We were able to get a parking spot on the premises but I'm not sure if there are enough spaces for all rooms as there...

The Manager is an excellent host, and obviously makes things tick. Our first floor room was spacious and modern, with a king bed, flat screen tv and large glass shower. The modern touches enhance the bones of this amazing home, and are not overdone to the point that the modern overrides the classic mouldings, fireplace and windows. We had a...
