Ideally situated very close to Oxford Town Centre, half a mile walk, we found the accommodation, customer service, food, organisation and facilities all excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

Stayed here for 3 days over yhe new year. Good value with a good new year gala dinner. A few staff glitches but sorted ok. Bathrooms pretty small but very clean. The bar was good - run by Barry who was very helpful & pleasant. Sited a15 minute walk from the centre of Oxford. A good Base.

Once again we enjoyed a warm welcome and helpful attentive staff who helped to make this a very comfortable and refreshing break. Room this time was small but comfortable and well equipped. Good food. Hotel is ideally situated for walking into Oxford or enjoying the nearby park.

Two Night stay in Mid-December to allow us attend a wedding. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, however I would question the 4 star rating as the facilities were restricted. We had four suit cases as we were on route to a two week vacation, no lift available so I had to carry the cases unassisted up two flight of...

There were four adults in our party and we had not visited this hotel before. I was a little wary as reading previous very negative reviews did not know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised as it was a sheer delight. The room very warm and comfortable, public rooms well presented and with cosy log fires - a...

Another great Christmas spent at this hotel. Food was amazing and the staff very attentive. It was a bit cold during the day in the rooms with the heating not coming on until about 4.15. That said I am sure we will be returning for Christmas 2017. Well done to everyone and thank you.

Two day stay. Nice welcome, ordered afternoon tea in the lounge, had to wait 15 minutes as it had been set in the bar! Room good but walls very thin, could hear next doors TV. Breakfast ok, poached eggs over done but service lacking, poorly staffed so they were over worked. Ordered dinner for 7.15pm but it had been booked...
