We spent 2 nights in Oxford and the Tower House was the complete package. The charming staff, the soothing decor, the excellent breakfast and the fantastic location made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in Oxford. Walking distance to all the main colleges and tourist attractions. Turl Street Kitchen just around the corner.

I chose the B&B based on its location and price. The place is basically at the center of Oxford and within 10 minute walk get basically get to you to everywhere. The Gloucester Green is just 10 minute walk away so it was very convenient for me. I had the Yellow Room, and given I was traveling solo, the room...

A pleasant stay in this well located, clean, and efficient hotel. Quirky Check In/Check Out via the restaurant next door, but the restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very good and easy to work at next door restaurant. Maybe not for novice travelers, but certainly manageable. No surprises. A similar comment to one made below, I'm quite...

Lovely, spacious, quiet room with a gigantic bathroom half the size of the bedroom. Very comfortable bed but it was annoying that it squeaked a bit when you got into or out of it -- otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Nice hosts. Around the corner from and managed by the same people who own the Turl Street Kitchen restaurant.

Perfectly located in the centre of Oxford. Our room was very cozy (little blue). Our room was on the Main Street, which was quite noisy on the Monday morning. And there can be a wait for the shared bathroom in the morning if the accommodation is busy.

You couldn't ask for a better Oxford location - the Tower House is within easy walking distance to Oxford's main attractions. The House itself oozes historical charm and quirkyness with sloping floorboards and thick beams. The breakfast at the nearby Turl St Kitchen was good standard English fare served by friendly staff. We enjoyed the little extras in the room...

Oxford is challenging to move around in and the Tower House has an ideal location. It's attached restaurant the Turl Street Kitchen is nice, and we did have good meals there. There are no hotel staff to speak of, only staff that come over from the restaurant so there is no one on duty at the hotel. Our room was...

Interesting place. You are staying in a converted home that has unique charms. If, like me, you are on the "tall" size (6'4"), you will learn to duck and be rather challenged in the shower. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. Good internet and TV, combined with nice choices for the kettle in the morning. No A/C,...

This is a small hotel, run out of the next-door restaurant (Turl St Kitchen, excellent in its own right). The best thing is that the hotel is right in the academic centre of Oxford ... near to everything, and a great starting point for Oxford walks. The room was comfortable ... a bit hot in the unusual dry August heat...
