Friendly reception staff except the older man who worked nights who was rude and aggressive. Clean hotel with spacious rooms, crisp bed linen and a fantastic selection of hotels. Some of the rooms you can’t control the heating so they are quite cold so I needed a blanket. Breakfast was a bag due to COVID times but was plentiful and you could collect a coffee from the machine. Gym was basic but if does the job
Standard of room is good and great value for money , what lets this hotel down is the staff engagement . The lady on reception failed to engage at all , Made no effort to expain Covid procedures and only when prompted did she explain dinner and breakfast process. I was told can't charge to my room due to Covid yet every other Hilton can charge to the room during covid
Good facilities in room - iron etc and a decent hairdryer! Clean and comfortable and good shower. Really nice toiletries too. Plenty of plugs by desk space to work. Easy to work temp controls and good sleep. Desk space slightly thin for a larger laptop but minor point. Free parking a bonus. Breakfast currently grab and go bag but 2 options and a good selection but tasted fresh and decent choices
We choose to book in this hotel purely because of the name as Hilton has always been classed as a great hotel when we arrived there was ample parking the check down the desk was very nice we dropped our bags off and went out for dinner when arrived home, we had showers and off to bed. May I say this is the first time we got on the bed . The bed had bits in it. on further Inspection there were toenails and what seem to be a bit of broken tooth on the sheets. Horrified I complain to the night porter who subsequently gave me another room not funny at 1:30 in the morning I will be putting in an official complaint so my advice is to check your bed before you get into it.
I had been staying here before and after staying at Hilton garden inn with a great customer services and pleasant rooms! I decided to try this hotel again and i was very disappointed not because of the accommodation but because of The customer services were not very good and the receptionist needs training on how to deal with customers, specially under current circumstances where services are limited! She needs to explain what has changed in terms of evening meals and breakfast which are provided by hotel!. The shocking part for me was when i got drinks at the bar and told i can not charge it to my room if that is the case she should have explained that at the check in and be prepared to take extra charges! As for bottles of water, only sparkling water was available, the sparking bottles are pathetic size and both the ones i got were flat! The room was good and I recommend to improve the shower water pressure. …
