We did enjoy our Christmas stay at The Feathers. (We did pay for a 'suite' to afford ourselves some 'quiet time'). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the food was excellent and, beautifully served - (just a couple of blips). Our one complaint is that, having booked a "Christmas package" we were surprised to find that on Boxing...

Room 23 very comfortable lovely bathroom BUT check in at reception very poor long wait to be allocated room. No telephone in room although promised 3 times during our 1 night stay. This meant no easy access to tea/ coffee in room. Bar staff unaware of special deal gin cocktail. No mention of Blenheim Palace tickets but after enquiry on...

Me and my husband came to the feathers hotel to enjoy a dinner, the food was outstanding, I would highly recommend it, and we were served by the politest young lady, I'm not sure of her name but I do know she wears glasses, I really enjoyed holding a conversation with her and she made our trip delightful. The feathers...

So we booked through Wowcher on a deal. Managed to book a room within a weeks notice. I emailed them asking if they could put balloons in our rooms as its my other halfs birthday.... not only did they do that they also upgraded us to a suite / apartment room, which was very contemporary and funky furniture! We had...

Myself and my partner selected to stay for a few days over Christmas, with my parents electing to stay in one of the suits. It could not have been a more pleasant stay in any respect. The suit was a great place for Christmas and the rooms were all very well appointed and of a very high standard. The gin...

Stayed here for one night in Jan and wouldn't recommend it. Really lacking in any atmosphere, old fashioned and tired furnishings and really poor food. The main issue I'd say is the pricing of food and drinks. There is at least a 400% markup on wine and the food was really expensive and so salty to be inedible. I find...

I stayed at The Feathers in November with my niece and my nephews wife on a package called the Gin Experience. We had a small suite which was very comfortable. There were twin beds in the main room and a sofa bed in what was probably usually a small sitting room. Both rooms had their own t.v. and the bathroom...

Once again the helpful staff made our stay.especially Monica. We were staying for our family to visit Christmas at Blenheim (memorable, superb and well worth the money - maybe we were extra lucky as it was foggy which led to an extra bit of magic with all the lights) and we needed three suites - not cheap - but taking it...

Stayed here for our 8th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed! The hotel is lovely, the older rooms really are delightfully quirky - no even floors or walls: perfect! The food is delicious, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked risotto, my only complaint would be that I could have eaten it all over again :) There seems to be a lack...

Stayed just one night. We wanted to visit Blenheim Palace, and the hotel was literally 5 minutes away. Old hotel with a modern decor. very helpful staff. The Courtyard Bar is a must for anyone who likes a G&T. THey have over 400 different bottles of gin, and a very knowledgeable barman who is great at recommending a new gin...
