It is a nice choice if you do not want to spend too much. Indian retaurant is very good, we've got supper even after closing hour... Breakfast pretty O.K. Tap at tub is a miracle. I have no idea how it works. Rooms 209, 210 have no view and there is a loud aircon underneath.

Very pleasant staff nicely decorated and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was fine no complaints whatsoever. Very central for the town centre This hotel is combined with a curry restaurant so the smell of spices is predominant. We love the smell so it didn't bother us. I just wish we'd have had time to try out the restaurant as we were...

Hte hotel is centrally located, about 5 minutes walk to the train station. Staff is very helpful. Room is somewhat tired, and the bed is relatively hard. Not so nice smell in the bathroom. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special.

Stayed here for the weekend to meet up with friends. Check in was quick and very pleasant the lady on reception was very professional and told us how to get to our room along with details for breakfast. We booked into the indian restaurant at the hotel for a meal before we went out. What a fantastic place to eat,...

Greatly improved since last visit. Christmas lunch. Quality tomato and basil soup served on nicely heated plates. Roast turkey with good flavour and tasty Christmas pudding. Prompt efficient service and empty glasses promptly removed. Service did not suffer with over seventy people to serve.

I stayed here for a night in a triple room. The room was very big and nicely decorated. The beds were big and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure from the shower was really strong. The breakfast buffet was fairly standard with the usual choice of hot and cold foods. The location is very central,...

Stayed here on the weekend for £59 plus breakfast for two people, so didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Arrived earlier than normal check in and was greeted and given room with minimal fuss. Room clean, all amenities catered for as you would expect. I will say, Harry Potter had more room in the cupboard under the stairs. Room...

Not the smartest or most modern hotel around but adequate if you want a quick pit stop en route or if staying in the area. I will start with the positives first; excellent female receptionist (I didnt manage to get her name) who is genuinely friendly, welcoming and efficient, great asset for the hotel, and to be fair staff in...

This hotel is directly above an Indian restaurant and located in the heart of Reading. In fact, breakfast is served in the Indian restaurant. Considering the price, this is not a bad little hotel. Rooms have a TV (which works with no promotional channel, thankfully), kettle, iron, en-suite etc but no safe. Although the rooms are small they are still...
