The room was either freezing cold or red hot as the radiator valve was on the floor broken so the heating couldn't be regulated which wasn't the best. The heated towel radiator didn't work either. The room was clean-ish, shower was hot and worked fine however no hot water from the basin tap so had to use the small sink...

Duvet covers didn't look or smell as though they'd been washed in a LONG time. Room very small, not enough tea, coffee milk etc. Couldn't fill the kettle from the tap as the sink was unnecessarily small, shower took ages to warm up in the morning. Breakfast was dreadful. Staff pleasant enough but didn't like the fact that there were...

Firstly not very comfortable. No central heating, Also I was supplied with an electric heater with no stand! Towel rail in room also not working, also making bathroom very cold. Tv was a nice size and worked well. Breakfast, starts at 7am - we got there for 7.15 and was told there was no bacon! Ordered a breakfast with no...

OK, this hotel has two things going for it: It has parking and is close to the town centre. If I were you though, I'd check out the Beech Hotel further up the road. Might be a couple of quid more on taxi fares, but might be well worth it. The room left a lot to be desired, one of...

Nice enough, clean and tidy. A little rough around the edges in places but you get what you pay for. Though the bathroom is modern and my room was freshly painted. Not bad if you just want somewhere to crash for a night. Staff are friendly too.

Starting with two positive comments - Hotel ideally placed to get to the centre of Reading. Also a compliment to the receptionist who tried to help out on our arrival. Negatives - After picking up room key from reception we found our room (12). Very sparse in everything. This nay sound picky but to me these things are important to...

This was a last minute booking. Location was very convenient. I must say having read previous reviews our room was absolutely fine. Bed was comfortable, room clean and shower powerful enough. Cannot comment on any of the other facilities as never used them. The staff were very pleasant despite a very late check in. Would certainly stay again if in...

Smoking designation along with ashtray right outside the front main entrance. No shampoos, just empty container. Bar was a hole in the wall Empty bottles of beer lying around through morning time. Very tired looking generally all over Right next to the Trainline which kept me awake Either the price needs to be reduced or problems resolved to reflect the...

Stayed here recently for four nights and overall an okay stay, as long as you aren't expecting the Ritz. Positives: + Located in a nice area of Reading (I used to live around here) + 20 minutes walk from the town + Staff quiet but helpful + Nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed. + Great transport links. Bus stop outside...
