Amazing, I was very impressed. helpful, friendly and clean. It was a last minute stop over and I couldn't have been happier. Everything was very easy and the breakfast was delicious with lots of variety.

We visited last Saturday (January 28th) and enjoyed staying in a hotel that was a little bit different. The public areas of the former Shire Hall (a listed building) are stunning. Our very comfortable room had a bronze statue of a tiger and interesting pictures on the wall. The breakfast was good. The staff were all very welcoming and efficient,...

My preference for business trips to Reading. Location is great with almost everything in walking distance. Breakfast is outstanding with both buffet and a la carte options! In the evening, great restaurant and bar as well.

Have stayed here a number of times and it is definitely a luxury hotel in terms of it's rooms. Lovely comfy beds, lots of very considerate amenities like romantic films and lovely robes. Great breakfast too!

Really good hotel. Lovely rooms, with big decent bathrooms. Centre of town. No gym though and the one they have a deal with isn't great. But still a good experience and rooms a pleasure to pass out and wake up in. Service is also very good.

I checked in very late due to a late arrival from Dubai - the welcome couldn't have been warmer: extremely efficient and friendly check in the bedroom was cosy, with a lovely view over the park - very comfortable bed, and a very spacious bathroom, well-equipped with Molton Brown toiletries all the staff I met were genuinely welcoming

We stayed here last year for 2 nights after our wedding and loved it. So we were out and about shopping and having fun when I thought why not. On arrival we were upgraded (always a winner). Lavish decor, luxurious rooms and very welcoming staff. Love the rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast delivered to room was spot on. Only slight niggle...

Stayed in a double apartment for the first time. They're very different to the rooms in the hotel. The positives are that the apartments are large, comfortable and reasonably priced for what you get. The downside is that they're not furnished anywhere near as nicely as the hotel rooms and detached from the main hotel facilities. The staff are always...

We had our 6th Christmas party in the Cerise restaurant last weekend. Last year, the previously excellent service went to pot, and as I suspected, they were in financial difficulties, hence the low staffing levels. No problem this year, as they are under new management and the level of attention given to us by the general manager and staff was...
