Stay at Mosborough hotel for one night on a Bed, Breakfast, evening meal deal for our wedding anniversary. This place made our night. On arrival staff were courteous throughout. The hotel was very clean and there was a smell of fresh paint in parts. Our room was a good size, well stocked with drinks and toiletries. I see everyone mentions the water. I had a bath it was filled in seconds great hot water supply which I seen in few hotels. The room was clean and modern. We booked into the restaurant which I remember was called Darcy's. There was a small menu which was great. The food was beautiful, well presented, tasty and value. a great dining experience. Breakfast was good with a help yourself continental buffet and cooked breakfast to order. Overhall I couldn't fault the hotel for what we paid it was excellent value for money and well worth a re-visit.…

Highly recommend this Hotel. Lovely building and location.
Me and my husband got married here in October 2022. Our day was beyond perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning, including the separate private venue area and courtyard for weddings. Our wedding breakfast was delicious and the staff were on hand ready available to help when needed. We had the best wedding day and wish we could relive the day all over again. We only needed to look at the one venue (mosborough hall) before immediately booking it for our wedding day ♥️
We have stayed here about 20 times over a period of 17 years. Our latest stay was not the best we have had but was still very good and we will return again. I tend to sleep badly in hotels but Mosborough Hall has the most comfortable hotel beds I know and I always sleep well there. The food and service were good.
Really comfortable nights sleep, friendly staff and our evening meal and breakfast was hot and tasty. Would recommend as a convenient hotel for Sheffield. Set in pretty surroundings with plenty of parking. The only slight downer was the electric car point was out of order on arrival
Staff fantastic, especially Angela and rita in restaurant, room clean, well hot beakfast both days horrendous, and tasteless.buffet was nice. So if you come don't eat the hot food (it wasn't hot at all!!!)
A party of 8 Inc 2 children chose to dine here on Christmas Day 2022. We made our booking in August , so we were all looking forward to it . We are all local and have frequented Mosborough Hall many times , with 2 of our party having their wedding reception there . We were expecting good things , especially as it was quite expensive . I can honestly say , the only positive thing I can write is the Staff , and Santa visit for the kids they were all excellent , very attentive , every time we asked for something the Staff were there , and very friendly. Now on to the food , I just dont know where to start , the prawns were so sparse , with a bit of Lettuce, then the sorbet , which was very tarte and just tasted odd , but the kids liked it . All of us had Turkey , which was just not nice , rock hard roast potatoes , hard stuffing balls , and the hardest veg I have ever tasted , the veg consisted of sprouts , carrots and the worst parsnip ever, I'm so sorry to say that none if it tasted fresh . 2 of our party had Christmas pudding, which they said was OK, the rest had the chocolate and orange tart , which the pastry was old tasting and a blood orange sorbet which tasted awful . I'm really sorry for this negative review , and even though I totally understand the cost of living crisis , Staff wages etc to take into account, but at a cost of over £600 for our family , we are also living in a World of inflation and the food absolutely didn't warrant a fraction of this price . We wouldn't ever book again .…
We stayed recently for the Christmas party. The staff are friendly and helpful. However the rooms are tired with terrible bathrooms. Seals around the bath were black and the sink stained. Food is average and not great value for money unfortunately.
A hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. We paid £134 for one night with breakfast, the room and en-suite was very disappointing, bathroom panel was material like chipboard and had water damage, crack in sink, creepy aiders in the light above the room door, broken stand of the TV. The bed was comfortable- two singles put together. They have a WhatsApp number which was never answered. Such a shame as the exterior is stunning. The interior is basically a very run down premier inn- but a lot more pricey.
