Small but adequate reception, given a nice room as far from reception as possible, but the exercise is good for me... Avery modern bar area, see through Glass walls on all 4 sides gave a view to the outside wall of the original Hall, but the rooms were in an annexe built on to the Hall. Restaurant good, but Please... More

Such poor service for Fathers day, no management from F&B staff. Tables were dirty and the food wait between courses was due to staff leaving at 3 and not handing over. Not able to produce a bill and as all tills were down. The team were unaware of the Fathers day gift and had to run around thinking of what... More

Took my Mum for an afternoon tea at Mosborough Hall. We had a choice of three, so went for the luxury option. This consisted of finger sandwiches, Scones with jam and clotted cream, small cakes and a drink. On arrival staff were very welcoming and polite. Was offered choice of three locations, outside, bar area or restaurant. Weather was lovely... More

This hotel is set in a beautiful location however I found the staff to be average! The rooms were tired, small and the bathroom was appalling, cracked tiles, pubic hairs littered in the bathroom and rust/a brown colour all round the back of the toilet! I needed to be up early the next day and was leaving the hotel at... More

Visited as part of a Red Letter Day purchased for us. Accommodation was great. Staff were friendly. Drinks were of good quality and reasonably priced. Food was ok and as expected in a hotel of this type. Only criticism is lack of knowledge of waiter and barmaid, the latter not knowing the difference between the wines on offer. Surely a... More

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding and were impressed by the service, food and venue for the event. Unfortunately our room was quite worn out and didn't live up to the rest of the hotel facilities. We felt it was overpriced at £114 B&B considering the room was so tired. Breakfast service was also very slow (we waited... More

My boyfriend brought me here for a surprise birthday treat, and we had a fantastic time. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Full breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice each morning. We had a full English both mornings, but there was a large choice of cereals / Danish pastries / fruit... More

We stayed for a couple of nights on our way through to Yorkshire. Nice hotel, but after being given three rooms, all still occupied we eventually had one to call our own. Dinner ? Forget it. Vegetables not cooked, creamed potato out of a packet and coffee that was brown and warm - say no more. For a bad meal... More

I have stayed a couple of times at this hotel whilst on business locally. The first visit was for one night and the second visit was for a whole week. The hotel and grounds are really beautiful. It was a joy to watch the squirrels jump around the gardens from the breakfast table. The staff are very friendly and helpful.... More
