And all this a stones throw from the iconic bridge! One thing I will say is Go off the beaten track and explore the local aera! There's so...

We found this beautiful pub on the onternet after reading the reviews. We booked last minute for Mothers day for 3 of us and had a table booked for 12pm. What a lovely rustic pub. So welcoming, ordered drinks, shown to our table and menus explained. We chose the Mothers day menu - 3 courses for £15, but there was...

Spent an excellent afternoon here with friends , eating drinking and watching the racing . Great afternoon with great hospitality . The choice of beers was excellent and the food we were served was superb along with the never ending supply of superb cheeses . Thoroughly recommend you pay them a visit .

We were here for a meal in the restaurant and I was a bit disappointed however 2 of the 4 of us weren't. It was very 50:50. My...

Always a wonderful welcome with a fine standard of well cooked and beautifully presented meals at a reasonable price. This is the third time we have met as a group of 12 and despite a very late arrival we could not have been better cared for. Good value and so nice to see more on offer than just a roast...

Friendly pub with limited lunchtime food available. 4 of us ate only one of us was happy with their meal the other 3 were considered over priced. My mushrooms stuffed with leeks and topped with cheese was particularly disappointing. 4 very small mushrooms with a few small rings of leek under a very sparse cheese covering. No chips no bread...

Stayed here for a fortnight recently. This is my choice when stopping in the area and has been for a number of years. It has a fair sized carpark so usually no problems. Friendly pub with good food at reasonable prices. They stop food at 2030. Good breakfast. They also have free WiFi. Good selection of real ales as well...
