My wife and visited for a short break and the hotel was lovely, in a quiet and peaceful location but only 15mins walk to town. The food at the hotel was superb and the staff very pleasant especially Libby who couldn't do enough for you. Well worth visiting

For a life long veggie, seeing risotto as the main veg option strikes fear in the heart. They are often tasteless and mushy. But the risotto I had recently at the Cliffe was quite the most delicious I've ever eaten. The pudding too, lemon tart with coconut ice cream was also melt in the mouth delicious. I often pop into the...

This hotel is in a good location not far from Ludlow castle and is 5 minutes walk from Ludlow town centre. I stayed two nights recently with friends in the house adjacent to the hotel for £133 including breakfast. We shared a room and toilet shower facilities. The house would be very good for small families as it has kitchen...

The location and surroundings are beautiful. The décor and facilities at the hotel wre exceptional and very welcoming. The room was extremely comfortable and smart. Couldn't have been bettered! I would certainly recommend The Cliffe, even though getting to it through Ludlow was rather confusing.

My wife and I recently spent a night at this hotel - just a quick away break.Hotels in Ludlow tend to be quite expensive but this one was reasonably priced. It's not the easiest location to find but it's ok if you use sat-nav. There also some signs here and there in the town which point the way. The location is...

As normal travellers to usually to the Cotswolds , Gloucester , Cheltenham area we decided to go different this time and we are so glad we did .The hotel itself was lovely and the room very spacious and the oversized bed as comfortable as I have ever slept in but the real winner at the hotel was the food ,...

We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights here but it is difficult to find due to road closure and one way system. Nearly all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our standard room was very clean but on the small size particularly the shower. We dined here on two nights. Although the menu is limited, the cooking is...

This hotel is lovely. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff are very friendly and really helpful. A truly amazing find and we in attend to goback. This is unusual for us we don't like going back to a place more than once, but truly loved it here.

four of us arrived for a cup of tea and teacakes at 330pm. the service was impeccable. although this was a quiet time for the hotel staff (we were the only customers), nothing was too much trouble. the hotel is stylishly laid out, comfortable seats etc etc. Always a good sign of a well run hotel, the toilets were immaculate....

We booked the Cliffe at the last minute when the hotel we were due to stay at went bust. We didn't eat there but the room was clean, a good size, quiet & had a huge comfortable bed. We had a front room with good views of the river & castle. Downside? A second floor room, no lift, so plenty...
