Highlights were the glorious views across town to rolling country from the back of the house, and a genuinely friendly welcome - that rare combination where the owner is warm, helpful at the drop of a hat, but not overbearing. My wife and I only were only in town for a night, and he gave us an excellent rundown of...

Six of us stayed for 3 days while meeting for a walking holiday based in Ludlow. Everything was good. The booking was efficient and informative, the welcome warm, the hosts very hostly and a mine of local information. We enjoyed porridge for breakfast. If we return to Ludlow we'll look to stay at the Mount again.

Ray,the proprietor, couldn't have been more obliging, ,friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious; the room was very clean with a pleasant neutral decor. The sitting room was a useful addition. I should like to return there...

The Mount could run training courses in how to run a first class B&B. Ray and his staff were charming, friendly and welcoming. Despite checking in early Ray welcomed us and brought a pot of tea for four to the second floor lounge. The lounge has splendid views over Ludlow and useful local information including printed maps and booklets. The...
