This was our first trip away with our 5-week-old and having been a bit nervous about taking him to a hotel we were delighted with how accommodating and helpful everyone was at Fishmore Hall. The hotel itself has clearly been refurbished relatively recently and all the fixtures/fittings are of good standard. Breakfast was really excellent. I booked my wife in...

Just outside Ludlow - a 3 minute drive at most, this 'boutique' hotel is beautifully maintained and every detail is well thought out. Rooms, facilities, service and location make this a great place for a romantic weekend. The restaurant has a good reputation, the only possible downside is the cost of meals. £16.95 p.p. for breakfast and £60 p.p. for...

Visited here for a 2 day break. Amazing staff! Was welcomed by a very lovely polite receptionist. The room was brilliant very clean and the new mini bar is an added bonus! Went to dine in the restaurant the first night and the food and staff were brilliant!! Service was spot on couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was a little...

We came to Fishmore Hall through a LivingSocial voucher, and I'm so glad we did. We don't drive, so we're looking for a place easily accessible from the train station. Fishmore Hall is a lovely 20min walk from the station in the town centre, very peaceful and rural. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Fishmore Hall clearly hold themselves...

Had a mid week DBB offer. Lovely room, free parking, clean. We chose it because of the 3 AA rosette award for the restaurant. The food was good but found the choice limited so opted for the bar menu on the second night, which was great. The service is friendly with lots of staff around, but slightly disfunctional on occasions,...

We had a lovely one night stay. The attention to detail was excellent in the rooms and the setting really peaceful. The restaurant was very special, sat out in the conservatory enjoying the scenery. They accommodated my gluten free meal exceptionally well and the food was delicious. The meal was a real treat. Thank you

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Fishmore. Excellent dining both for dinner and bar meal. The most comfotable bed we've had with a fantastic shower. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Just on the edge of Ludlow, the hotel is well located for the lovely market towns of Shropshire and Hereford as well as mid-Wales.

I say mostly good as the inexperienced staff let the place down or rather the management let them down as they are putting people in positions with little or no training. I don't really want to single anyone out but the same young girl was the cause of a few faux pas. Firstly she didn't know what a Bacardi and...

Booked this hotel on a 2 for one deal and opted for the upgrade to a better room. Bad decision! Normal cost for this is £220 per night. The room was NOT "executive" or "superior". It was just average with a very large uncomfortable bed. If one pays this amount for B & B you would expect toiletries to be...

We booked an internet deal which was cheap so we didn't expect too much. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the grounds which were a delight to the eye. Lovely ,imaginatively planted shrub borders which were carefully and immaculately maintained surrounded by neatly manicured lawns. The Hotel interior is just as carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff,...
