Nice clean comfortable hotel in the centre of town. Parking is available which is good. Evening meal was great and presently beautifully.. Staff were really pleasant. All covid friendly. Room was quaint and a great choice for breakfast was available.

Lovely clean environment with excellent COVID provisions. Great choice on menu. Food was excellent but small portions and a basic offering on the plate for the price. I had fish, it was almost £20 and it came with two cubes of potato and two bits of vegetable and a spoonful of some kind of risotto underneath the fish. I would definitely go back though but would choose a more robust dish next time and a few sides!

Stayed here for the first time whilst visiting family in Shrewsbury and absolutely cannot fault it!! Easy check in with very clear instructions re Covid measures. Room was lovely. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was so tasty. I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and hubbie had the full English. Came with a large pot of coffee and jugs of juice. Wonderful stay and we highly recommend!!

We stayed Friday and Saturday for a dinner with colleagues on Saturday. Matt the manager was very helpful in finding a suitable table under current restrictions. The food was delicious on both evenings, our room comfortable and we look forward to returning soon.

Stayed overnight on route to the north, don’t stay in room 12 very noisy from kitchen music and fumes from the extraction unit prohibited opening the windows. On the plus side the evening meal was acceptable although we were rushed to our table and not allowed to sit at the bar for aperitifs. The breakfast was on the skimpy side and the poached egg solid! The COVID-19 arrangements were first class.
