A nice little town centre hotel. It's family run and made to feel very welcome. It's not a 5 star but perfectly acceptable and close to the town centre. The room I had was number 5 at the top of the stairs overlooking the car park. It was nice and bright despite being a dull February day.

Stayed for 2 nights. No issue with parking on the hotel car park. Andrew was very polite, welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Evening receptionist was very cheerful and friendly. Reasonable bar prices. Nothing was too much trouble for any anyone working at the hotel including the night porter. Breakfast was very good(plenty of choice and hot) and the staff...

Stopped over for one night. Good car parking. Lovely owners. Cute clean room. Nice family run feeling through out the hotel. Some parts could do with a re decoration but nothing of big concern. Good location for shops and bars. Tasty breakfast and well catered for (had veggie sausages)

Visited Shrewsbury for a family event and chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the venue and it being in the town centre. The double room was a good size with a decent en-suite. The mattress was slightly harder than I would go for it but didn't prevent me having a decent sleep on both nights. Despite it...

We visit Shrewsbury about 6 times a year for a night just to shop, have a few drinks with friends and a meal so always look to stay fairly central. We arrived early afternoon and were pleased to get a space in the car park at the front of the hotel. After a warm welcome we went to our room...

I come to Shrewsbury every October by myself to visit friends and stay five nights and for the past three years I have stayed at this hotel. Parking is tricky in Shrewsbury and I have always been able to park in the hotel parking lot with no difficulty. The bed is comfortable and the shower is fine although water pressure...

This place ranked 13th of 14 in Shrewsbury when I came to book a family stay. Shrewsbury must be very blessed, because it's a very nice little hotel - a Georgian building, right in the heart of town, clean and friendly but not too noisy outside of Saturday night (there is a curry house opposite) and perfectly placed to walk...

We stayed here for 3 nights on the recommendation of a friend. The location is good and it is an old building with lots of character. There is a limited amount of car parking at the hotel and we were asked to leave our car keys at reception so they could move our car as it blocked another car in....
