The hotel was Ok. Adequate but certainly not anything luxurious by any stretch. The young desk staff was polite & professional ,as was the included breakfast service. There are no elevators or "lifts" as they are called in the U.K. Walk up to upstairs rooms with baggage. There did not seem to be a bellman to help. (The room was...

I wouldn't want to say my stay was terrible as it certainly wasn't however there were things that made us think that it was quite possibly over priced. The hotel upon approach and in reception was lovely and very pleasant, the room also very nice but slightly small. The decor of the room was lovely although some areas looking a...

Excellent Location: All the main attractions in Bath City are within walking distance from the Hotel. It is also very convenient for those who travel by train or bus/coach and walk to the hotel with luggages. Excellent Services: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Before our arrival, the front desk staff emailed to alert us that they could not...

This is such a gem in the heart of Bath. Literally steps away from the Weir, Sally Lunn's, the Abbey and the Pump Rooms, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Friendly, helpful staff, a convenient car park opposite and beautiful rooms. All to recommend.

A wonderful hotel - staff extremely welcoming and accommodating both before and throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location in the heart of Bath, within walking distance from all the main attractions. Bedrooms slightly on the small side but immaculately presented and beautiful nonetheless. Breakfast was delicious and a real highlight. Great bar (circo) downstairs which...

We stayed for a weekend at the Halcyon and were immediately welcomed into a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good with lots of selection and the location of the hotel was very convenient - a few minutes walk from the centre. The room was clean and comfortable, and particularly liked the...

The staff were tremendously friendly and extremely helpful, location really central, mid week continental breakfast possibly the best I've had (more than just cereal and sliced toast) and our room was particularly quiet, being around the back....But, it wasn't really suitable for our 5 month old. With the cot that was provided, it was a little tight in the room...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is boutique style, with lovely clean and crisp rooms. I like the little features such as the textured fabric of the bed cushions, matching the fabric cover of the stool. Lovely treats in rooms- cans of drinks, kettle chips, cookies and sweets. White Stuff toiletries and a good shower add to the...
