Visited here for a couple of nights to reminisce on some good memories of the hotel and Bath, however sadly I am now left with some bad ones. The rooms are in dire need of attention and a complete overhaul of soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings and whatever else you can do to make them look 5* again! The Spa which...

We spent a couple of nights here. Lovely lunch with a great pool, gym and Spa facility. The Spa is probably one of the best I've been to in the area and highly recommended ans Scott in the gym was very helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Had a really lovely time, but realised after that I had left my jacket in the wardrobe. The staff were helpful when I called, trying to find it, but it had gone. Either a member of staff or the following guest has taken my jacket. Either way the housekeeping should have found it.

Evening meal in the restaurant. Food was good, but not outstanding, served in the palatial high ceilinged restaurant - but because of the ceiling height it was particularly cold in the room. Starters of Smoked Salmon and Bracciola - portions were seriously tiny. Main courses - Duck Confit and Peppercorn Steak - both delicious. No pudding. Coffee served in the...

All members of staff were extremely polite, friendly and really approachable, in fact they were probably the best trained staff in any spa hotel ive been to. We booked in for a 55 minute back massage, my therapist Emily...

Made 13 phone calls to the hotel to make a reservation over 5 hour period. 6 options on the menu. No answer from 4 of them and voice boxes full. They call this service? Embarrassed to think of an international traveler calling this hotel. What a shambles!

Stayed here with my girlfriend last week for her birthday, we had one night here and one at Bailbrook house. This really is a lovely hotel but not a five star one, I cannot fault the staff. However a hotel famous for also being a spa should have working spa facilities. The steam room was broken so there was no...
