Just spent a delightful 4 days in Bath at the Kennard Hotel. We had booked a superior room and there were roses, chocolates and champagne awaiting us. Breakfasts are exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for the delightful hosts.

Bath is magnificent. Its architecture, its history; the wild water of the weir and especially its rural setting. However, what we really loved about this city was the hotel we were staying at. The Kennard is a family hotel run by a husband and wife team and it is a wonderful, little gem set in the middle of one of...

The Kennard is very well appointed, lovely decor, the hosts are welcoming and well informed about the city. The location is ideal a few minutes from the centre. Parking can be a problem. We had a very pleasant stay indeed. Recommended.

We stayed at the Kennard three years ago, when I won a competition in a magazine for an overnight stay and two tickets to the thermal bath spa. We had a wonderful experience and had 1st class treatent then from Mary and Giovanni Baino. We had a private civil partnership ceremony at the begiining of June 2012 and then throw...

I chose this hotel based on the reviews it had received and was not disappointed. We arrived at 12.30pm before the normal check-in time on a dreadful rain soaked afternoon, this was not a problem for the friendly owners, who supplied me with a parking permit and promptly helped us carry the bags upstairs (this is a townhouse with no...

We stayed at The Kennard in the beginning of February and chose the hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor. The hotel is perfectly placed to see the sights of Bath and just a short distance to the Roman Baths, over the beautiful pulteney bridge. We were were able to get a car parking permit from Mary at the hotel...

We had a one night stay here with two rooms booked and had a lovely time. We stayed in a downstairs (the garden?) room which was blue and white and very nice for the summertime while our kids stayed in a red room on the ground floor which was very cosy and would be lovely in the winter months. As...

Fantastic location, easy to park with a parking permit quickly provided by the owners. 5 minutes walk to shops and attractions. Nice breakfast and I like the fact that produce is locally sought. A lovely choice of quality Tiptree condiments. A long menu of tea and coffee choices - a nice touch! Things like this make all the difference when...

The Kennard is charming and comfortable. After some experience with English coffee several years ago, it was delightful to have individual coffee presses (with excellent coffee) at our breakfast table.

My husband and I stayed for three nights in May at The Kennard and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is in a great location, around the corner from Pultney Bridge and a few minutes' walk to the Abbey and Roman Baths. On arrival, Giovanni provided us with a parking permit, (with which we were able to park nearby...
