Nice hotel but in need of updating. Excellent location. Clean, and nice toiletries and refreshments in the room. No air conditioning and I can imagine that the room might be unbearably hot in the summer. We stayed in a Double Superior room(215) but no real justification for room being given this status as quite a small room and no wardrobe...

I stayed overnight at this really interesting boutique hotel, which has been modernised inside. The room was comfortable, our boardroom style business dinner was quietly and efficiently served, without the staff being obvious and which allowed us to continue our business dinner without distraction. The food was also excellent. A full English breakfast the next morning was also a good...

The location of this hotel is really convenient and isn't far from all the attractions, 5 minute walk max to the Roman Baths and 10 minutes to the Circus Crescent. I'd say it's a 10 minute slow walk from the train station so with bags, really easy to get to. The room was small but for one night, really good...

This is a really tremendous hotel. All of the basics are right - it's attractive and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, the location is as central as you get, and the restaurant is blow-your-socks-off good. But the USP is the art on the walls, which is tremendous - contemporary and really engaging. We loved it. And the cocktail...

Stayed for just one night for the hen night of my soon to be daughter in law. Beautiful hotel, great location, helpful staff, fabulous decor, good breakfast and coffee, BUT although we had a very comfortable bed, in what was a very small room we hardly slept due to the temperature of the room. The radiator was off and we...

Great location, lovely interior, fantastic breakfasts and cocktails in the bar in the evenings. The staff was hospitable, friendly and warm. We brought our golden retriever dog and she was allowed everywhere except the breakfast room (they served us breakfast with her in the bar). I would come again.

Had an amazing stay late weekend. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and polite. As we were early for check-in, they held onto our bags so that we could go and explore for a couple of hours...making the most of our stay in Bath. We had afternoon tea and had a chance to look at the decor...

We stayed for 1 night in room 107. The hotel is lovely, clean and the staff were all really friendly. We'd booked through Secret Escapes, which included a glass of fizz for each person on arrival - it's very nice fizz and the bar has a chilled atmosphere. The bed was really comfy, the room was clean and the toiletries...

Visited with my elderly Mother for both of our first visit to Bath purely to see the Roman Spa, Abbey and historical centre - chose this hotel due to location and we were not disappointed could actually see the Abbey from the bedroom window! (Plus 5 min walks from train station). We arrived 2 hrs before check in expecting to...

My wife booked us in to this hotel as a midweek break for my Birthday. On arrival the room wasn't ready but we were 20 mins early for check in, and maintenance had been in the room. Reception offered us the option of leaving our bags and having a drink while the room was finished, or an alternative room of...

Dear Nedkelly71, Thank you so much for your lovely review, it's very much appreciated. We're thrilled to hear that you had an enjoyable stay with us and managed to get a good nights sleep despite the Bath students apparent nocturnal life styles! I am glad to hear you found the location of the hotel perfect and we do hope we...
