I recently booked a break for myself and my husband at Bailbrook lodge, I had initially found an offer on living social, but before buying this deal thought I would ring the hotel as we were booking this last minute and I wanted to make sure it was still available to use, unfortunately they were unable to offer that deal...

Thank you for awarding us 5 stars and for the many compliments included in your review which are very much appreciated I was particularly pleased to note that you enjoyed our award winning breakfast with champagne My only regret is that you would have preferred a bath rather than a shower and as you intend returning again please be good...

We spent two nights in Bath, one night in the center of town at a hotel which was very expensive for what it was (I’ve reviewed this hotels separately) and therefore decided that we would stay out of town on the second night and got a good deal on Expedia for this place. It is a short easy driving distance...

Stayed here for 1 night as wanted to visit Bath Christmas market. This was our first visit to Bath and we loved it. The hotel was very quaint, the room was stunning with a huge 4 poster bed. Breakfast was also very nice with plenty of choice. It is quite a walk to the town centre but there is a...

Many thanks for awarding us 5 stars following your stay with us in one of our five 4 poster bedrooms. I note that you were on our very popular Thermae Bath Spa Package and I am pleased that you found it to be great value. However, I am disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your lunch in the...

Just returned from an excellent two night stay. We agree that the standard room was on the small side but overall this bed and breakast is excellent. Breakfast was served with a glass of champagne and was piping hot and delicious. The bed was so comfortable, pristine plump white duvet, perfect pillows, chocolates, stain wipes, shoe shines, fluffy towels. Staff...

My husband and I stayed for two nights. We had the standard room. The room is compact with all the necessary trimmings plus extra details such as free slippers, chocolates and very good selection of hot drinks. The bathroom is compact as well. No bath just shower. Very clean place. Very good selection for breakfast and staff were efficient. The...

Thank you very much for your very complimentary review following your recent stay with us and for taking the time and trouble to highlight some of the attractions of Bailbrook Lodge. I am delighted that you found our Thermae Spa package to be good value and that you also enjoyed dinner at our sister restaurant, Brasserie Brunel, enjoyable. We look...

It is a lovely building on the outskirts of Bath that feels a bit as if it still clings on to its better days when it was, perhaps, proud of its family and their genteel social gatherings, carriages and ventures into the town for the weekly ball. As a B&B it was OK: faded and a bit tatty round the...

Thank you for your review following your stay with us I was disappointed to read your observation that you felt that we were “a bit tatty round the edges” as although I am aware decor is very much a personal choice all of our rooms are maintained to high standard, not least because we employ a maintenance man to ensure...

It's seen better days, room with double bed with mattress falling off on all the sides and had clearly seen a fair bit of action! No food in the evening and apart from corporate hotel next door there is quite a walk to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was good, I had kippers my colleague had a good looking FEB.

Thank you for your review and for awarding us 4 out of 5 stars. I am sorry that your stay with us was spoilt by the mattress and we are dealing with this issue. Stayed here in November 2015 with some family. The breakfasts were excellent, large choice from kippers and smoked salmon to a full English. Recommend if you need to stay in the area. The village is very quaint as well.

The location is just off the bottom of the A46 going to Bath so a car is a necessity but it was quiet and the room, although small, was comfortable and and had a tiny en-suite shower and loo. the basin was in the room apparently due to listing issues!!
