We had 4 nights in this hotel which is about a 15 minute downhill walk into the city centre. There is a good bus service from the city back to the hotel as the walk back up the hill is quite strenuous. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very friendly Our room was clean and very comfortable....

This hotel is excellent for getting into the city center of Bath as only a few yards down from the hotel is a bus stop for the Park and Ride bus which drops you off in Milsom Street and collects you from that stop. Its not far to walk down to go to see the Roman Baths (not to be...

This was a mini break to celebrate our wedding anniversary, this hotel selected based on other reviews. Shearings are clearly the priority customers due to their regular business, that's ok, I get it. However maintaining 25 degrees ambient temperature throughout is slightly excessive. The good, great location, no stag or hens in residence. The bad, 11.4 % hill to climb...

Thank you for your review, I am pleased that you liked the Gin selection, this is a new addition to the stock and is proving very popular. I am very sorry that you found the hotel rather hot, this is difficult to judge at this time of year I hope to welcome you back again

Fantastic staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough for everyone.Food was excellent with a good choice. There is some building works across the road but the secluded garden was lovely on a warm day. Enjoyed the shearings 4 day break. ***** five stars from me.

We booked one night at late notice to visit bath recently. Hotel in a good location and good bus service and park and ride nearby. Sadly I was very disappointed in the £120 a night accommodation. Very tired looking. In much need of redecoration. TV in our room was no bigger than a laptop. Bathroom in particular needed replacing. Very...

Room 302. There were steps to enter our bathroom. The lift only allowed 3 persons. For breakfasts, you needed to ask for a yoghurt, and the only fruit was prunes and grapefruit segments- the latter to be avoided if like me you take STATINS. Limited evening meal menu choice, but you could pay extra and choose a la carte.Staff were...
