Room very comfortable - roomy and with all facilities and extras. Thoroughly enjoyed a pre dinner drink in the bar followed by our three course evening meal (which was part of our...

We took advantage of a Wowcher deal earlier this week and found the Royal Hotel to be absolutely excellent. It's right opposite the train station and, having arrived by train from Birmingham at 11.30am the standard of the welcome at reception was as good as it can get. They were also very happy to take our bags from us, as...

Being right opposite the railway station this hotel made Bath's tourist attractions very accessible. The hotel itself is of the old school namely: good personal service, excellent food, comfortable rooms & staff who genuinely want to help you. If there is a slight downside, being in the city centre there was a fair bit of traffic noise BUT this hotel...

I recently stayed at this hotel as present from friends for my 40th birthday. The location of the hotel is ideal especially if you are travelling by train as the station is only accross the road. It is within walking distance of the shops and all tourist attractions like the Pump rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa etc. I was initially booked...

Best location if you travel by train. Very comfortable and friendly, good old fashioned hospitality. Very impressed by Heidi at the reception desk. Joyful professionalism at it's very best! My daughter ran in the BathHalf marathon and Heidi has produced a box of safety pins brought especially to pin the marathon number on the shirt. Very thoughtful, makes the guest...

I stayed at the Royal Hotel the night before running the Bath half marathon. I discovered, on the Saturday, that I had actually booked the wrong night...the Sunday. Heidi, the hotel receptionist, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, kind and professional, she found a cancellation room for me in the hotel, allowed my to cancel my incorrect booking free of charge and...
