Just returned from a mini break in Bath. We booked Marlborough House based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. The staff- Peter, Lily and Sarah were very knowledgable about where to go and where to eat in the city centre. We stayed in the Edwardian room on the ground floor which was converted from a king to a twin...

I stayed in Bath, England in August this year and was fortunate to have made my reservations at a B&B called Marlborough House. My room on the third floor overlooking the front of this charming place was uniquely decorated to make me feel right at home and was impeccably maintained each day that I was there. The staff and proprietor...

I would definitely stay here again, right near everything you want to see, lovely clean room, nice breakfast room and amazingly friendly staff. I stayed here with my two teenagers and they enjoyed their stay too.

We booked this as a special birthday treat and were not disappointed. Peter, Lily and Sarah (had to mention you all!) did all they could to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts are vegetarian or vegan - a choice of fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt to start, then a choice of cooked breakfast, a basket of toast,...

Couldn’t fault this B&B in any way. The welcome is warm and welcoming and Peter and the girls are lovely and genuinely want to make you feel at home. Comfortable bedrooms, lashings of hot water and an absolutely delicious breakfast set us up for our days out in Bath. There were nice, thoughtful touches in the room such as complementary...

We stayed here with my sister-in-law and her husband - and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The location is terrific - just a few minutes from Royal Crescent and then it's a short stroll to the delights of Bath. The house has great atmosphere - and is so comfortable and pleasant. Lily and Sarah were most...

We came to Bath on a whim and were told about Malborough House at the Information Centre. So glad we chose to take it. We stayed for only 1 night but we wished it could have been more. Peter's attention to detail was just perfect. Our room was the Floral Room which was beautiful, great space and the bed was...

We stayed at Marlborough House to celebrate my 50th birthday by visiting Bath, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Pete and the staff were welcoming and friendly and the hotel is perfect - so comfortable, clean and in a great location. Pete's knowledge of Bath and his recommendations for restaurants and touristy things to see were...

We stayed at Marlborough House over the Bank Holiday weekend in August. We arrived early on Saturday morning and were greeted at the door by the lovely staff. Our room was already ready which was a bonus. Our room was clean, comfortable and the complementary sherry was a lovely touch! The air con was also an added bonus. The House...
