I stayed here for one night on 13th May 2017 with my 17 year old son - he was competing in a sports competition at Bath University. We booked a twin room. We arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening at 9pm and were required to pay on arrival. There were no amenities on offer, the bar was closed, we...

Beautiful building on exterior. However-inside is a different story. The carpet in my room was threadbare and frayed. The bathroom and bedroom smelt damp. The hot top was really difficult to turn off. The room had a heater to plug in- however the flex did not reach the plug. The end of the bedpost was missing. I could feel every...

For a hotel so central it beggars belief. Absolutely shabby, no lift, bar or food. All decor a mess, carpets crumpled, derelict areas (were possibly lounge and restaurant). Staff civil and helpful. The only good thing, was the shower was hot!

It used to be better. Just about OK for the location mostly. Stayed about 4 times. It was always budget, but OK, as we are well used to budget hotels and do not expect any frills. Just a clean en-suite room, a bed with clean bedding and polite staff. The first time some years ago, when it had a bar...

Had to stay here as couldn't find another hotel for a conference. IT WAS NOT WORTH £85/night! Very outdated, needed a lot of TLC. Extremely unclean throughout the hotel - I put my bag on the floor in my bedroom and when I picked it up it was covered in dust, there was mould all over my bathroom ceiling, hairs...

The hotel is in serious need of a remodel from top to bottom. The entire floor in our room is sagging in the middle, the mattresses need serious replacing unless you like waking up with back spams and the pillows were hard and flat. The curtains were not hanging on the rails properly and could not be closed properly and...

Probably one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. Filthy throughout. The air was so stale and dusty that I woke up with a nosebleed. My mate woke up covered in a rash. The heating is stuck on maximum and is on constantly. There are suspicious stains EVERYWHERE, on the curtains, walls, carpets, tiles. The mattress on my bed...

I hardly know where to start. As an Englishman, I would be embarrassed to meet any foreign visitors in the lobby, and try to explain how such a dump has a license to operate under the pretence of being a 'hotel'. From the minute you walk in, the reception is deserted and it smells stale and damp. It looks like...

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. It should be called a hostel. It's dirty and smelly and when I entered our room it stunk of cigarettes, there was a plastic bag over the fire alarm and dirty tissues under the filthy floors. The "en suite" is a tiny room with a broken toilet seat and a shower you would only...
