DONT STAY HERE! Good points, 10 car park spaces clean sheets clean towels. Bad points, socket loose in wall, dangerous! Rather unsightly stain on blanket! Bath and shower nozzle disgustingly filthy! Carpet was old badly worn and torn near bathroom and was very dirty and grubby! Curtains old dirty and falling away from rail, wallpaper torn badly worn and covered...

With a cheap hotel in centre of Bath you don't expect great or even good, you just want functional. This wasn't. It was badly decorated, covered in mould and dirt. The bed was horrible, the sheets were rubbish. The shower didn't work.

Staff was veeeeeryyyyyyyy RUDE to say the least with a very unprofessional attitude. Worst "hotel" ever (apologies to the real hotels out there as this one doesn't deserve the name) Shower not working due to accumulated limescale! Noisy and very uncomfortable spring mattress Room was dirty No manager or duty manager in situ to help us solve the issues and...

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were dirty there was old chips under my bed! I don't think it had been cleaned in ages. The wiring was unsafe with bare wires exposed in several places. some wires were in a plastic bag. Although at one time there had been a bar this...

Shabby, dangerous (wires dangling from electric towel rail). No bar, no breakfast, bedside light not working, Towels and sheets clean. Owners obviously don't care. Receptionist tries hard but admits money should be spent on hotel.

The location of this place is fantastic. Apart from that, the hotel may have been of a good standard in the 70s and 80s, but it appears that nothing much has been done to the place since and it has been left to run down. The staff I encountered were pleasant but are fronting up, sadly, a very poor offering...

We arrived very tired with our huge bags before check-in. No one was at the office - no bell, nothing to help us contact someone. So, we waited for about 20min before someone showed up. We had to lug our bags up more than 3 flights of narrow stairs - no help offered. The heater was on in our room...

The Redcar Hotel in Bath is an old terrace building that has been renovated, many years ago, into basic accommodation. My room was clean, with a small but functional ensuite bathroom, free wifi and TV. The hotel is very close to the main social area of Bath and an easy stagger home. The staff were very friendly and overall I'd...
