Booked a table for Sunday lunch took a while for them to find a table and then we were told it needed clearing. Bar service for drinks also poor and when we asked for menu and how much longer before we could sit down it was suggested" we chill out at the bar". By 2.15 we were taken to our...

We were all delighted by this Inn just 3 miles outside Bath and set by the river Avon. It was incredibly peaceful and the spacious rooms were tastefully decorated and furnished with sumptuous super-king beds. The price of accomodation includes full English breakfast which can be taken in a dining room alongside the river. The menu is very impressive making it...

I've been here twice now in the past month and it's been perfect everything. The place itself is beautiful with a lovely canal view. The food is absolutely lovely. Both times I've been I've had the same thing to eat but both times it has been perfect. The value for money - especially with the lunch deal is spot on....

We came on Sunday and was so disappointed! Ordered our food and drinks at table and starters came no problem, hadn't even finished our starters and one of my sons main meal turned up! Our plates weren't cleared from the table and just left, my son went on to finish his meal and again still no plates cleared! After another...

We spent three night at The Boathouse to soak up the 'Christmas aura' that Bath has to offer. On our arrival we had a warm welcome and found our room to be very nice. The only thing was, one bucket chair, where I think two would have been able to have been accommodated nicely, so one of us had to...

We visited Sunday lunchtime. The waiter was polite and showed us to a nice table suitable for five adults and two children. The place was very quiet with more staff than diners. Even so, it took ages to have our orders taken. We waited, again, a long time (half an hour) for the adults food to come out. One person...

Just returned from an evening meal. I ordered posh mac and cheese with warm rosemary foccatia. When it arrived there was no sauce in the meal very dry with kale and one piece of cauliflower. Cold bread, couldn't find the rosemary. Sent it back, it came out again with what I think was a bit of white sauce. My husband...

Oh how I agree with the other reviewers. Booked a table earlier in the week for 6 at 3.30pm and received an email acknowledgement saying they would give us a nice table. When we arrived they had not reserved the table and didn't seem to know what we were talking about. Eventually pushed three tables together so we ended up...

Some friends had booked a table for a birthday celebration last Saturday 3rd December. The restaurant was crammed with tables with very little space between and after ordering our food we then had to wait 2 hours for it to arrive. Other people who arrived after us and who had not reserved a table were served their food before ours....

On arrival we ordered some drinks and our food at the bar , the baked Camembert to start and the sharing roast for main . Within literally 1 min of making this order...
