Turned up to a nice welcome which is the only reason I've given this a 1! Walked up to my room to find the window smashed and can't shut so had to sleep fully clothed with jumper on. The heater in the room didn't work and it sounded like a chicken had got stuck in it so turned it off... More

I stay there for many time and it's always a good experience for a hostel. It's possible to make some friends have a chat in the living room. The staff are usually nice. Some of them too much rigorous with the hour of checkout.

The location is fantastic. You are quite close to Bath Abbey. But to be frank, the toilets and showers were similar to what you would get in a toilet block at a camp sight. The staff were friendly and everything was pretty straightforward. If all you want is a bed in a good location, this is your place.

Location is terrific, just 5 minutes walk from the train station Department store, supermarket and a lot of restaurants along the street. I stayed at the 4 people dorm, the bed is too soft. The shower room and the toilet is in the basement which is not very convenient. Cleanliness is just ok. But you could store the luggage before... More

This was the sixth hostel so far and probably my least favorite. The bed sucked, the pillow was so thin that it felt like I was sleeping without one, and there was one bathroom for the entire floor. I didn't see any showers either. The location is great. It's just down the street from the Roman baths. Luckily, they were... More

Staff were very nice and friendly. Rooms are cosy. Showers are clean and warm and toilets were clean. Rooms are labelled pretty funky. I never had chance to check out the lounge. They allowed me to put my bag in early

It was the last place we could find with space the weekend. We know why now! Real shame but if they spent some money on this place in the last 5 years I'm not sure where! Good points - bed mattress was firm, location great, free cycle storage.... Bad points - noisy, showers awful, place is falling apart Please someone... More

As a cheap bed for the night I suppose it's OK. The bed was clean and comfy enough, the kitchen fairly well-equipped and I appreciated the free tea/coffee; but there is no excuse for dirty showers and toilets. I've seen better ones in a student squat. However cheap this place is, don't even think about going there if stairs are... More

Staff were nice and although there's not much atmosphere I did meet nice travelers to go out with. The sign to the place is on the ground so I was looking up for it on the building and walked past several times (my stupidy) My really only compalint was the beams and where the bunks are, I was on the... Room was stinky and dirty, loads of dirty clothes and underwear on the floor. Doesn't matter how cheap is accomodation, it's not expensieve to keep it... More
