We stayed for one night on a Saturday. We are 50+ but it was mostly populated by younger folk. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. Music downstairs was blaring until 2am but didn't really bother us as we were tired. The more annoying thing is an air conditioning unit outdoors next to our room (room 3)...

I wasn't initially aware when we booked of the requirement to bring a solid set of commercial ear protectors or to be slightly deaf. To be fair it wasn't really advertised as such. We went to sleep as if sat in the corner of a nightclub, with the bar downstairs knocking out 4 to the floor until 2am, which I...

It was one of the most worse hostels we have ever stayed in. Facilities were dirty mostly toilets and showers. Bins bag were always full and smelly. There were not enough sockets for everyone in the dorm. The sort of living room was small and bad furnished. Staffs were quite impolite. Also you have to pay to leave the luggage...

I was passing through Bath, hoping to see the sites and have a relaxing 2 night stay. The hostel is conveniently located but beware, it turns into a nightclub with very loud music until 2am. My room assigned to me was directly above the bar/club and the beds were vibrating until 2am. In the morning the staff did offer earplugs...

Stayed here on a Monday night. In room five which was top floor private room. Meant we couldn't hear any noise from downstairs (I don't think you can choose the room though). I booked through booking.com and it didn't mention that the bathroom were shared but that wasn't a huge deal. Everything was clean, gorgeous decoration. Staff were a bit...

I don't know where to start......I hardly ever write bad reviews but this needs to be addressed! We stayed in room 3 which was one of the private rooms at the end of September for one night as a quick stop over before heading to Heathrow airport the following morning. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
St Christopher's Inn Hostel, Bath is the most central backpacker base in the city. Bath Abbey, the ancient Roman Baths, the modern-day hot spring spa and the famed Royal Crescent are all within minutes of our Bath hostel. Add to that the many boutique British shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants lining the cobbled streets of this quintessentially British city, and you're in sight-seeing heaven! Bath is a perfectly preserved Georgian city in the South-West of England with oodles of history and a lively ambience too. You certainly won't be lost for something to do during your trip. People from all over the world travel to Bath to see the ancient Roman Baths, the history of Jane Austin and the many museums, parks, theatres, canal paths, and trekking trails! Better yet Stonehenge is only a stone's throw away from St Christopher's Inn Hostel, Bath. Visiting Stonehenge is always an experience, as you marvel at the sheer magnitude of these great stones and join the debate as to why they're there. Bath is also an excellent base to explore the quaint and traditional English villages that make up the surrounding Cotswolds. ... more   less

Southgate car park, expensive but secure. The closest is the podium (next to Waitrose opposite you) but it's not as good or nice as Southgate
