arrived at the Astor to a very sweet welcome note on the door and showed myself to my room. Found that to be a very honest and trusting way and meant the owners can still get out and about. I wasn't once asked for my booking reservation it was all very easy. I was in room 3 which was beautifully...

I booked 2 nights in this "4 stars" B&B via Visit Bath website. I did print my booking and even called this establishment in the morning. It seemed that I spoke to one of its owner.... and she was in town, so she could not check her bookings. However, she told me that was my booking was an online one...

We spent two lovely nights at Astor House. The room was fabulous we loved the layout of the on suite. Would recommend a stay in rom 6 to anyone and would happily visit again. Situated av Horst walk from the town centre Astor House makes a good base away from the hustle and bustle.

Friendly welcoming and helpful staff, clean, homely, spacious rooms, good showers and room amenities, good breakfast, excellent value for money. On site parking. About 10-15 minute walk from town or £7 taxi ride away. Excellent curry house on the same road too... Will be coming back.

We really loved our stay at The Astor and would certainly recommend. Lovely old house and a great room. Our room was big enough for us and had plenty of amenities including drink making facilities, hair dryer, TV, trouser press etc. Nice shower and wash space. Also we felt that the room was nicely decorated and clean and included a...

I stayed at this hotel twice on my trip. On my day of arrival, the keeper made arrangements for me to drop my luggage off at the hotel. On my second stay, I got up a little bit late and missed the official breakfast and check-out times. The keeper was very accommodating and served me breakfast, and never mentioned that...

We arrived fairly late at night, with our 1 year old son, and were given a very warm welcome. We had asked about parking in advance, and therefore a space was held for us. The room was lovely, fresh and airy. We had a great night's sleep, no noise at all, and we were right at the front of the...

Bit of a mixed bag this one. As other reviewers have commented, I found the welcome to the house underwhelming. Perfunctory. The room itself was very good and the ensuite (down a strange corridor) was clean. However the flow from the shower was only borderline acceptable. There was no signal on many of the TV channels which meant that I...

An amazing B and B with excellent rooms and ensuites to match, the staff are all very friendly and the breakfast kept us satisfied all day. The location is perfect, a short stroll to the city centre but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. I will certainly be recommending this B and B to all my friends and...

Stayed with friends hotel is about a 15 minute walk into Bath city centre down hill suggest getting taxi or bus back. We came for Christmas Market which was good if a tad expensive. Great choice of food on the breakfast menu. Will use again if I'm ever in Bath again.
