I decided to spend a couple of nights in Bath, a city I had always wanted to visit. I arrived at 12 and was welcomed by Christian who was so helpful. I was given a map of the area and lots of places of interest were pointed out and recommended. I was shown up to my room - a single... More

Had a brilliant stay at Lynwood House. Situated in a great location, literally a 5-10 minute walk to the Roman baths etc. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. The host, Christian, was very welcoming and gave lots of helpful information about Bath and provided a useful map of places to see as well as good places to eat and... More

Great place to stay in a quiet street near the centre of Bath. The host Christian, was helpful and friendly and the hotel gave you it's own map of Bath with all the important places and eating places to try. The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed.I would certainly stay there again or recommend to friends.

Christian (the perfect host) greeted us with a warm welcome and lots of great information about the lovely city we were about to explore. The room was perfect as a comfy place to base ourselves. Everything we could ask for in the room, and only just over a stones throw from the historic baths and Abbey, taking in the sight... More

Friendly owner met us and provided tons of info on the city and favourite spots. Rooms are cleaned and well appointed. Mattress could stand for replacing but that is really the only little thing I could criticize. Would highly recommend it - perfect location easily walked into town everyday and back at night with no issues.

Books 2 nights as great value for £85 per room per night without breakfast as bath expensive in general. We parked in space around back for free, the room was clean and well maintained with ensuite shower room. A short 5 minutes walk to the city centre with the river and canal area to the left of the guest house... More

This guest house gave me all I wanted for my visit. My room was comfortable and quiet as the house is on a side street, but only a few minutes walk across the river from the Abbey. The staff were helpful, suggesting places to eat and good walks. No breakfast provided, but Bath has loads of eating establishments so that... More

We arrived at Lynwood house, at an agreed time, late morning, and received the most warm welcome. We were told where the off street free parking was and then shown to our room, earlier than advertised, which was a nice surprise. Christian was extremely friendly and gave us local information regarding places to eat and drink and also for Breakfast,... More

A friend and myself stayed for two nights mid-week to attend exams at Bath university. Ideally located, we avoided early/late traffic easily and even had parking on-site at both times which is unusual as Bath is very difficult for parking. Arrival was sorted easily with my friend, with keys given and a code for the main door. The room was... More
