It's like staying with your relatives. Christain and Roz provide a relaxing atmosphere where you feel at home. Do make it for breakfast......it's better than eating out. Speaking of location....you couldn't be closer to the heart of Bath....a beautiful walk.

Lynwood Guest House is the ideal place to stay if you're visiting Bath. It is only a 5 - 10 minute walk to practically everywhere; parking is free; the rooms are warm, clean and comfortable; the food is great; and Christian and Roz are the perfect hosts. Why go anywhere else?!

Lynwood offers a very warm welcome from host Christian. It is in the perfect location for walking into town, while being very quiet at night (although there is a handy pub round the corner). We opted out of breakfast as there are plenty of lovely places to eat and Lynwood provides a comprehensive local guide to eating and drinking (and... More

As with all of the other reviews a great place to stay. Only a short walk to the heart of bath but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Christian was a perfect host, very welcoming and forthcoming with his knowledge and tips of the area. Rooms large and clean but could do with updating - perfectly adequate but... More

We were very impressed with Lynwood. Christian and Roz were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable and well furnished. The guest house is in a quiet street, but in convenient walking distance of the town centre, which meant we could enjoy the nightlife but I slept like a baby. Christian even helped us lug... More

Located in a quiet street, within easy walking distance from the station and the centre of Bath. I was doing a "nostalgia" visit, meeting up with some friends from my nursing days, and this excellent B & B was well within my budget. I opted out of breakfast (nice to find a place where you can do that) as I... More

We come to Bath once a year for a relaxing break and this was our first stay at Lynwood House - but it will not be our last. Christian & Roz made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. Great location to walk into the city and clean rooms.

After all the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor we were a bit disappointed with Lynwood House. Roz and Christian were extremely warm and friendly hosts with plenty of helpful advice and it is a very clean B&B, however, our room was drab and gloomy. The previous wallpaper and border had simply been painted over and a faded bedspread added to the... More

My friend and I travel to Bath for a 5 day stay and decided in advance to stay at Lynwwod House. We arrived in Bath early, but when we phoned our hosts hoping to check-in early Christian was extremely accomodating and helpful. Upon arrival, he helped us lug our giant backpacks up the stairs to a great little room which... More
