This bed and breakfast hotel is ideally situated for exploring the lovely and historic city of Bath. everything is walking distance away . They provide cheap parking on site . WE booked latte and could only get a room with shared toilet which turned out to be very close and not shared at all. We were met by the owner...

We stayed at the B&B recently and were very impressed! We were provided excellent instructions on how to get to the B&B and park up at the rear of the property. The room was large with excellent facilities and a brilliant shower. The B&B itself is very close to the town center and a stones throw from the wonderful Bath...

Just had a lovely overnight stay at Elgin Villa, a lovely friendly welcome greeted us and told us of local attractions and route in to town which is 5 min walk away!! Situated very close to the Royal Crescent which is a beautiful site, it did help that we had sunshine for the visit! Very clean, spacious & comfy room...

I had high expectations for my recent stay because when i stayed here with my family 4 years ago we had a fabulous time. Elgin Villa is under different management and it seems all the charm, style and warmth disappeared with the previous owner. The rooms are tired and very dated, the furniture rickety. The prices are astronomical and they...

We stayed one night. The double room with twin beds had a shower in the corner, there was a sign saying please put the fan on when in use, but the pull cord was far too high to reach to be eble to do this. The parking at the rear was a nightmare, we had to keep moving the car around...

The location of the Elgin Villa is excellent but the twin room located on the first floor is very dated. The pale pink wall paper had started to peel from the walls but I think that was due to the fact there is a shower cubicle situated in the corner of the room!!!!! The furniture was quite rickety but ok...

While this review is for a stay that was back in December of 2009, I do believe that Anna is still providing a great stay for her guests. We had read in Rick Steves' book that this was a great place to stay so we called the day before Christmas Eve and, even though she was technically closed, she welcomed...

The room was very nice, with dormer window overlooking the street. Margarite and Peter very helpful and sweet. Breakfast was at our own table in a nice room, real coffee and seconds on juice, croissants and cereal. Beds were comfortable. City was awesome. Would return and stay at Elgin Villa. reasonably priced.

Decoration at the Elgin Villa is quite old fashioned but neat and tidy. If you're after all the mod-cons, this may not be the hotel for you. Breakfast was a very basic selection, and the shower and taps in our bath room could benefit from a little maintenance attention. However the beds were very comfortable, very little noise from outside...

Very good location and the hosts were friendly and helpful, but the property is so dated. We had the attic room and it was just horrible. Wood-chip walls, blotchy ceiling, ugly cheap furniture, uncomfortable bed with sheets and blankets, thin curtains and a cheap shower unit stuck in the corner - nasty nasty!! Book ahead and find somewhere nicer, this...
