Stayed here in July this year. We were given attic room which appeared to have double bed by accommodation standards around world. When we were charged king rate 110 euros questioned host who said bed was king size in European standards which is rubbish as king size is just that king size..not country specific.B& B Association needs to check this...

Excellent location. Lovely short walk via the Royal Cresent into town. Rooms spotlessly clean. Would have liked the option of a cooked breakfast. Our twin room didn't have ensuite toilet which wasn't great. Landlady friendly but wouldn't suit a family with children as a very quiet house and the girls (aged 17) were told off for walking down the stairs...

My husbad stayed at the Elgin Villa on a recent Bath weekend. The location was good- a 5 minute walk from the Victoria and Botanical Gardens and 10 minute walk to the city centre. The breakfasts were good, and the hosts were friendly.. Our third floor room was a bit cramped but clean and comfortable and quiet with lovely breezes...

The room was clean and nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. It was about a 10 min walk to the city center, which was great. I wish it had a/c and a fridge to keep drinks cold. that would have been nice, but maybe those requests are too american. also since it was hot and we kept the...

The three of us found the place conveniently located and the hosts were very nice (from the phone booking to our arrival throughout the stay). You can check-in from 2pm to 8pm. Decent breakfast and very good room. Definitely recommended. Peter and Margarita were excellent hosts.

My party of 6 booked this b&b for my hen weekend in Bath and read that it had good reviews. We booked a fanily room (for 4) and a twin room for our stay. We were met by Peter who gave us a comprehensive explanation of where we were and directions into town then showed us to our rooms. The...

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in, the decor is shockingly out of date and filthy, it stinks of meanness and the hosts have no idea on how to run a b &b. The whole experience was simply awful.

Rooms were fine. Location was good. Price was ok. And at first we thought the hosts were nice until breakfast when Margarita went crazy when a guest decided to open the fridge and get another yoghurt. She completely told him off and it was very unprofessional considering it was an honest mistake. Also, the day we checked out, we returned...

My two friends and I recently stayed at Elgin Villa in Bath. The location of the B&B is great, just down from the Royal Crescent and a 10min walk to town. It also had private parking, albeit at £5 for the night, but still more reasonable that the car park it backs on to. The room was basic yet comfortable,...
