We stayed here for 1 night. The old villa is in an excellent condition. The 2 ladies at the reception (Holly and ?) were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding with a broad choice of eggs and outstanding smoked salmon. City center is just a 10 min walk.

Just a one night stay ....wonderfully clean with all the facilities that you would expect from a top end B & B without being pretentious . Very comfy bed and good sized bathroom . Breakfast choices were limited but that allowed the options to be of very high quality . One of the best breakfasts I have had in years...

Stayed here for one night as we were dining at the incredible Menu Gordon Jones which is just up the road. Lovely place, very calm and comfortable. Friendly staff can't do enough for you. Fantastic rooms and great breakfast. First Class!

Wow... This guest house is amazing. Tastefully decorated the rooms are comfortable and welcoming, the breakfasts were amazing as well as the service and all staff we met were very polite. If I returned to Bath I would definitely stay here again.. worth every penny..

Leighton Townhouse, is certainly upmarket and a first class place to stay. The facilities are excellent, the room was huge and the Super King bed very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful; and the breakfast was both plentiful and tasty. An easy walk into Bath but steep coming back. My wife and I would recommend it to all.

They do everything right, nice greeting, good decor, spotlessly clean, good breakfast etc. Avoid room 3, it is too small and the shower room is cramped. I did not see other rooms, but for what you pay we were disappointed. Apart from that great.

We had a wonderful time at the Leighton townhouse. Owners were incredibly helpful and friendly as well as the staff who served our breakfast in the morning. Our room was beautiful, with lovely views over Bath. Also thought it was such a lovely touch to have classical music playing as we entered the room. Breakfast was also of a very...

Our room was newly decorated, chic, spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed. I wish we had more time there. We will definitely be back. We were in easy reach of the town centre, although there was a small hill to climb.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Spoil yourselves at Leighton Townhouse. We are just a 10 minute walk from the city centre, in a peaceful 140-year old Victorian villa, set in lovely gardens, with great views away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and offering complimentary on-site car parking. Formerly known as One Three Nine, we have recently refurbished and refreshed all our bedrooms and guest areas to provide 10 individually designed and beautifully decorated guest rooms, all of which have air conditioning, as well as beautiful bathrooms with underfloor heating, power showers and many with spa baths. Leighton Townhouse has been fully restyled to reflect the age and character of the property. Using a harmonious palate of soft neutrals and flashes of brighter accent colours, our Townhouse has a warm, relaxing ambiance with each room completely unique in character. By blending our signature style of classical French chic with contemporary modern elements, we are able to offer our guests an extremely comfortable stay and a truly bespoke experience' Take in the sights of our remarkable city, have a lingering lunch, soak in the bubbling hot waters at the Thermae Bath Spa, book an evening show at the beautiful Bath Theatre Royal. Dine out, hit the shops or just lounge like a local - our townhouse has everything you will need for a perfect stay. The views are amazing and the possibilities are endless. Leighton Townhouse offers all the 'mod cons' you would expect from a luxury B&B Townhouse as well as beautiful, comfortable décor. Our guiding principle is to offer exceptional personal service and accommodation to make our guests feel they are 'home from home' but with a bit of 'wow' factor to make their stay in Bath one to remember. We believe that there are a few prerequisites that a luxury B&B townhouse must have - relaxing décor, very comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms, fresh, crisp, quality linens, fluffy towels, robes & slippers, welcoming and comfortable guest areas, fresh flowers, good lighting as well as a hearty breakfast with plenty of choice and Bucks Fizz to kick start your day. Whether you just want a few romantic days away 'a deux', a break on the way to the South West, or a 'girlie' get away, Leighton Townhouse will tick all the right boxes. ... more   less
