I was due to stay at another Dunster hotel but was let down by them just as I pulled into their car park at 4.30pm, alone and with my dogs in the back of the car (see an other review!)! And no mobile signal. Yarn Market (where I had stayed before a number of years ago), kindly jumped in and...

We stayed at The Yarn Market hotel for a few days over the Easter period, and what a beautiful warm welcome we received. The hotel looks newly refurbished and is very clean. The food and service is excellent. Unfortunately our car broke down and they helped us tremendously with the issues that we faced. Nothing seems too much trouble for...

We have stayed at the Yarn Market several times and once again we were greeted with a warm welcome, nothing is to much trouble, the staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great, breakfast is one of the best and the dinner menu offers a good choice of well cooked food day to day. We had a lovely stay and...

Lovely hotel: clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful location. Food good (breakfast and dinner). But the USP is the attentive hosting. All staff friendly and helpful, looking after my children and me. Real family feel. Thoroughly recommend the Stargazing Break with Steve Owens - fun, informative, beautiful and mind-boggling!

Managed to find a room here at the last moment on a very cold January night! Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was warm and comfortable. Lovely view from the window too. Perfectly situated on the Main Street in Dunster which is a wonderful place to explore. Lots of places to eat round and about too. Would happily...

We booked the Yarn Market Hotel fairly last minute as a quick getaway from it all for New Year. It was important that we could take our dog as we wanted to be able to walk across Exmoor. The Hotel was very dog friendly, no problem having her in our room, We ate with her by our side and the...

We had a fab weekend at the Yarn Market Hotel for the Dunster by Candlelight event. The hotel was a perfect place to stay as it is in the heart of the event. It was freezing in the street but we could pop in and out of the hotel and even viewed from our window while having a hot drink...

Dunster is a beautiful village and The Yarn Market hotel is in a great location right on the High Street. Parking is a bit tricky but you can unload right outside and then park in a car park 5 mins walk away. We had a family room which was terrific, if a little dated, as it was actually a twin...

Thank you for your comments - we are glad you enjoyed the village of Dunster. We are aware that some of our rooms do need some updating, and have just finished installing a shower in Room 2, up above where you stayed. The family room you occupied is the next on our list, and should be completed before our special...
