Everything in past reviews say it all. Friendly owners, super clean high end luxurious accommodation and one of the best B&B's in the country. Food top notch and sourced locally. We stayed in late September to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Why........... because Cliff and Trish look after their guests so well that they keep returning......we must have visited Spears...

We stayed only one night here but felt lucky to have found such a lovely B&B. We had the Selworthy Suite which is an annexe to the property on split level. Generous size accommodation, clean and quiet. I am very noise sensitive and specifically requested the annexe, we could hear no noise at all from the main house. We had...

This is an exceptionally luxurious and welcoming bed and breakfast. We visited last year and were so impressed that we returned this year, and it was even better than before! From the wonderful warm welcome from the proprietors, to the beautifully equipped and appointed historic rooms, to the wonderful breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble for Cliff and his wife,...

A very warm welcome, good food, lovely rustic surroundings, and very comfy bed! TV, music system and CD's, good wine, robes provided, high end toiletries provided. Church bells a delight to us, but at 5am some found it a bit irritating. Excellent stay, thank you very much.

We stayed at the end of April during the Bank Holiday weekend. The venue was more than excellent thanks to the owners. They were very welcoming and most helpful regards bookings for dinner at some of the local restaurants, of which there is a varied selection within the village. The interior of the venue was beautiful with some lovely beams....
